I have used roughneck storage boxes for 40 years. I am a potter and I have stored glaze in them. The large one holds 150 lbs of wet glaze. Not one has ever failed. My recent order of 6 medium boxes are for downsizing my pottery in retirement. My son is carrying on the business, in fact he will carry all the pots to a craft show. They can be stacked 3 high without fear of collapse. They are the craftsmens workhorse. Thanks

I have used the 'roughneck' storage containers for a number of years. I am a teacher and store books in a facility that is not climate controlled. The books are always in great shape when I open the containers each year. I was disappointed that I could not find a store in my area that sells the 'roughneck' division. I am so glad I was able to order them on-line!

I have many of these totes from years ago, They have held up well. I'm not sure these new ones will be as long-lasting. Yes, they are better than the plastic ones in the stores, but these are much thinner than the old ones. I'm disappointed. Rubbermaid, Why did you change these? I would pay more just to have the older type back.

Recently purchased 8 of the 14 Gallon roughnecks for camping and storage. Expected to receive product similar to what I have had, and used for years. Instead, I received product that looks and feels like the "other brand" that is very thin, brittle and cheap. It is sad that the competition has forced RubberMaid to take such action. Have always been a very dedicated customer of RubberMaid products. Not sure if I can remain same ....... so sad...

seems theyre making this with a lighter flimsier plastic than they used to, makes stacking high less possible....dissapointing, but still happy to be able to get the product

We apparently had a previous version and loved them. But these are not as good as before. They are OK but wouldn't purchase them again. They are thinker and the lids do not stay closed as well.

I bought 5 of this roughneck on line and when I got them they where of much cheaper material that some I had bought before on stores, they where the exact same match but the plastic was a lot thinner so they would bend a lot easier specially if you stack them.

the item is okay; but, the closure is not very secure---I have many Rubbermaid storage units I bought 20 years ago are much better made (I paid less for them too)

I bought this to store a large item and based on the dimensions of the box advertised on the Rubbermaid site. When I received the box my item did not fit because the advertised dimensions were based on measurements taken from the outer edges of the box which included a one inch lip. I will use the box to store other items, but it was disappointing transaction.

Product was WAY OVER PRICED.
