Rubbermaid TakeAlongs Deep Square Food Storage Container (Set of 4)

need bowls to take family members some food in but i needed it to be able to hold soup with out spilling and these bowls have a good seal! I dont have to worry about it spilling in transit. these are perfect for taking leftovers home from a Thanksgiving dinner!

These Rubbermaid Take-Alongs are similar to other freezer to microwave disposable food containers like Glad or Ziplock, but more sizes and styles to choose from. Our family does pot luck-style meals every week, so we are constantly carrying food back and forth. Also with huge family style meals we send home lots of left-overs. So, we pass these back and forth between homes and the good news is, if it doesn't come clean, or gets damaged yo just throw it away. The square ones take up less space in you fridge or cabinet, and the round ones are good for tossing and mixing and serving. We like them all..and use them all...a lot.

Great bowls for freezing soup or really anything. I'm by myself now but still love to cook stews or chili and these bowls hold enough for a meal. For less than a dollar each you can't go wrong. Even if you give some food to a friend or neighbor you don't need to worry about losing your bowl.

for feeding both my dogs and cats, with the handy lid - kept everything unfinished, nice %26 fresh until the next stop! A little unconventional usage, but was the oerfect solution for my needs at the time!

As far as I'm concerned this is an excellent product. you can't beat the price and as far as I'm concerned it's great because I'm elderly now no more kids in the house and however I do Sunday dinner with my children and my grandchildren which of course means a lot of containers go out but don't return so for me this is a God sent! I'm in this product anyone like I said it's a good bang for the book I always get them! they are very good to put in the fridge save the food from getting funny they're great because they stack very well on top of each other and they're very adorable so between stacking and not looking too bad in my fridge I can't complain and they're extremely durable so I would recommend it to anyone what are you waiting for just get some even if you don't need them get them because you're going to need them! happy shopping!

I love these bowls. Carrying soup and salads to eat go well with these. The lids stay on so nothing is spilled. Easy to microwave meals with. Top shelf of dishwashing cleans them to be reused many times. Stack the bowls up and then the lids stack on top. Easy to store away.

We've always purchased these, used them over and over in the microwave to reheat soups, leftovers etc. we've even cooked boxed Mac and cheese in this when our stove top wasn't working. I also use them for my husband to take leftovers to work and heat there. My daughter also uses them to store her small things in. We will happily continue to purchase them !

Generally decent product.. I preferred Rubbermaid's original containers.. they were sturdier and more solid and could hold about a 1/2 ounce more. They're not available (or even made anymore?) so this is what you get. Being thinner, makes them easier to handle and store so thats good.

These and all of the Rubbermade containers I ordered are useful and well described. The sizes area most needed and close well and tightly. It is the tightly I want to make others aware of. Many of the lids have a corner tab for opening. I have very weak hands due to age and really have to fight to open those lids. Unfortunately they are on the sizes i use most. I definitely recommend these containers, with this note to those who have weakness in their hands. I obviously use the ones I can.

I “assumed”…MY mistake, the Rubbermaid containers were “Air Tight” when securely closed. Put some water in container with dish soap. The started to shake the container…waters started spewing everywhere. I double checked to see if top was closed securely. So I shook again and same thing occurred….water spewing from under the lid. JUNK!! Tossing my containers in the TRASH!!
