Rusk Speed Freak Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Dryer 2000 Watts

As far as I'm concerned, this is definitely one of the best blow dryers on the market. I previously owned this model for over 10 years, and loved it. When it was time to replace it, I purchased two competitor dryers and ended up returning both of them. There was just no comparison to the Rusk. I then began a thorough search to find the same dryer that I previously owned. Every location and website were completely sold out except for Wal-Mart. I was thrilled that they had it in stock at a great price. It arrived in less than a week, perfectly packaged. It works like a dream, and my hair once again looks great. It's the best, and Wal-Mart is the best for having it in stock when everyone else was sold out.

Reviewed lots of hair dryers on line. This one is professional, quiet, and a nice weight. Not too light or heavy. Hair seems to dry less frizzy. Perhaps there is something to that Ionic thing.

My last Rusk Speed Freak Dryer lasted me over 20 years, some of those years it was used in a professional setting. It was used almost every day, hour after hour. Not many hair dryers can do that. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this new one will last half as long. Everything about this new dryer is terrific. So if you need a new hairdryer I recommend this one.

I have had using a Rusk hairdryers probably for over 25 years they are truly the best. The reason for the replacement was because mine died after 15 years! Truly the best hairdryer out there.

I'm still not sure if I am going to return it. I like the heat and the power of the blow dryer. What I don't like is the placement of the controls and the weight. After reading the review, I thought it wouldn't be as heavy as it is. But that's not what bothers me most. The controls are right where you hold the dryer. Oftentimes I am pressing on the cold shot or my had moves the controls while I'm drying my hair.

I bought 2 hair dryer the price were fair , and I used it in the past I know the brands are good , for my surprise, I starting use it and turn off 1 minute turn up , so I open the second one did the same thing , manufactured probably not the same as used to be . My coworker bought the same brand, happen the same thing turned off one minute later back to turn on . We same the comps not making them with the quality that used to be …

Purchased this hairdryer in October 2025, 5 months later and it constantly shuts off while drying hair. I have owned a couple of the Rusk Speed Freak hairdryers over the years and have always loved it. I have never had an issue like this. Something is definitely not right and I would never purchase from this seller ever again! Highly disappointed as it is not a cheap hairdryer and would not recommend seller to anyone!
