Rust Bullet - BlackShell Rust Preventative and Protective Coating - Quart

The product arrived early and seems thick enough to reliably cover the rust on the cab of my truck. I have not applied the product yet because it's too cold and I don't have a garage to work in as it's been mid-30s for the last two weeks and since it's December, it's understandable. Will wait for spring or summer.

Pros: Great product to use on metal or really anything. Product is thick. Whatever this product touches it will stay on. Wear thick rubber gloves on your hands. Cover the perimeter around the item of which you are applying. Cons: Opening the can a second time is hard to do. I recommend cleaning the rim of can and top before sealing it up. Use Goof-Off or Turpentine to clean hands and anything this product touches.

I have tried numerous types of rust preventative paint and this is the best! Follow directions...apply 2 coats. If you have any left over, make sure you remove any paint around the ridges of the can before you put the top back on or you will never get it open again.

Have not try it yet. Been to cold.

The best none activated paint I ever used ,lam a A,P mechanic , and hot rod coustom builder, only one thing don't get it on yourself it hard to take off , great stuff!!!!!!!!

I put it on the subframe of my car by brush. Covered easily and looks a lot better than the rusty metal I had previously. I hope it holds up well. Time will tell.

arrived with no damage to packaging. opened box and can is severely dented. Looks bad but i can hear liquid and dont see any lost paint. waiting on response from Laurie Ciglar ~ Rust Bullet LLC - Walmart.com  customer service Rep. for 2 days.
