Rust-Oleum Automotive Wheel 3X Metallic Spray Paint, Graphite, 11 oz

The color is good and dark. I bought this to freshen up some towel racks and other neglected hardware around the house. The thickness of the paint is good for covering and filling light pits. The paint took a day or two to get hard enough to use. I just sanded the old paint off and removed the rust before repainting. I'm completely satisfied by the usual Rust-Oleum quality and ease of use. The surface texture helps keep the towels from sliding off the rack like I've had happen with glossy, slick paint.

Nice color, has sparkle under. Easy to spray. I do recommend multiple layers for full coverage but great product. Paint has not lifted or scratched. Goes on think enough to cover minor imperfections.

It is awesome paint! It works really well on rims and holds up in bad weather. It's definitely more durable than spray paint!

My rims were so rusty I had to do something quick, I brought this and they look so much better. It made a big difference.

Quick delivery, very easy to apply. I will say be very careful how you take the top off FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! The spray nozzle is very fragile!

Great product didn't run easy to sand and doesn't peel

I've sprayed about 8 cans of this paint, and it sprays a little better than the old "graphite" wheel color this one appears to have replaced. Color is dark and rich. Lots of metallic dust. I've found it beneficial to use a light grey or white 3m scuff pad when dry yet uncured to knock down the metallic dust and smooth the finish. It only lays glossy if you spray it heavy coats very close to the item, otherwise it lays matte unless you clear coat.

I'm giving this 4 out of 5 stars. The graphite metallic color looks great and gave my wheels a clean, modern finish. The paint went on evenly with good coverage, and I only needed a couple of light coats for solid results. It also dried fairly quickly, making the project easy to complete in one afternoon. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that surface preparation is critical—if you don't thoroughly clean and prep the wheels, the finish may not hold up as well over time. Overall, it's an excellent value and a great choice for refreshing worn or faded wheels.

I was not impressed with this spray paint, it seem not covering the metal surface and even after an another coat the paint was not that great the color was ok.
