Creates a very good marble looking countertop without the high price you'd spend on the actual marble. Covered my old countertop with one application and adheres easily to old tops .one it's cured it is very durable.

With it's no stripping, sanding or priming formula it truly was a breeze to accomplish professional looking results in no time. At first I was intimidated since I had not done a task like this before but with it's easy to read instructions and steps, anyone can accomplish this as well. The kit contained one base coat and one top coat, that's it! There wasn't no mess, smell or fuss! I definitely recommend to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed using Rust-Oleum's marble countertop kit because it does not require any sanding, stripping, or priming before you start. The cleaner helps remove grease off the counter before you put the base coat on top. The veining of the marble was simple with the provided paint. Once dry, you can apply the top coat which really adds a nice glossy finish to it. To top it off this was not smelly at all, which is a plus for me!

The gray veining comes separate along with a finishing cleaner. 2 case should be plenty to cover the counter top in a small kitchen, with both a large kitchen can be completed. If your kitchen falls in the middle that you should have plenty. Easy fix for outdated kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I had been debating on what to do with our date countertops for a while. Without fail, Influenster came to the rescue by allowing us to be a part of the Rost-Oleum Voxbox! The Rust-Oleum Marble Countertop Kit has been a game-changer for our kitchen makeover. As intermediate DIY'ers, the user-friendly instructions eased our fears, and the decorative paint worked wonders in giving our countertops a nice make-over. However, a minor hiccup emerged during application – the vein paint tended to dry a bit too quickly for our liking, even with the mist spraying technique learned in the video on Rust-Oleum's site. This meant we had to work quickly to achieve a semi-believable marble pattern. I strongly recommend having a photo of white marble to try to mimic while doing the vein and blending. If you're a perfectionist, this might be a step worth passing off to someone else in the house who doesn't have a touch of OCD or perfectionism. Afterall, what marble has a perfect dispersion in nature? While it added a layer of complexity, it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience. I advise any future users to work with small sections and focus highly on blending to get a more natural look. We learned as we went and gradually got the blending technique down as we progressed. I recommend practicing on a spare surface before committing to the your countertops unless you want to go back and re-apply base coat all over again. As for the base coat itself, the instructions recommend 2 coats for the white, but I would urge 3 as a minimum if you have a laminate countertop that likes to absorb as much as ours did. The protective topcoat, a star of the kit, appears that it will provide the durability we need having a little one in the house. Time will tell on that aspect. The topcoat has the consistency and appearance of craft top coats like modgepodge and goes on smoothly. While the instructions only stated to use 1-2 coats depending on desired durability, we went with 3 for safety sake and still had plenty left for later touch-ups if need be. Despite the vein paint challenge, the end result is a kitchen that looks high-end without the hefty price tag. Cleanup is a breeze so far. The Rust-Oleum Marble Countertop Kit offers an affordable way to elevate your space. While the vein paint's quick drying may require nimble fingers, the overall transformation is worth the effort, delivering a great look to your kitchen without breaking the bank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I love painting and it's a hobby I do I'm also always doing DIY at home but really this kit and changing my counter tops 😩 we're not what I expected it doesn't leave a smooth finish it's really grumpy and I don't like it at all also the vein paint is not light it's to dark and it doesn't leave a good finish to do as a smoky vein look and it looks horrible I really don't recommend this product at all because the white paint is too grumpy no shine and no smooth so it doesn't help and the gray veins are too dark also the finish sealant is not shiny so it leaves a dull look i was excited to see a marble effect in my countertops like my floors and it to be shiny and all but it was no my expectations thank you Influenster and rust-oleum for sending me this product for free for my honest fee view now I have to get this paint out my countertops 🥴
