just purchased so I don't know about the battery life yet. seems like a good quality. definitely did the job only used it on the vibrate mode. we have a 7 pound Shorkie who is a big time yapper at 5 am. it was wonderful to sleep in until our usual 7 am.
My dog was abused as a puppy. When we first got her, she enjoyed running out of the front door and being chased. I had purchased a different brand collar and when she saw it, she cowered in fear so I didn't keep it. Having recently moved to an apartment, she had become a problem barker. Fearing having to re-home her due to her incessant barking, I purchased this collar. Having been years since our last go at it, I feared the reaction would be the same but she surprised me. She allowed me to put it on her and a while later, she ripped the curtains down again to bark at someone walking outside of the window. I turned the remote on (love it because it locks so you don't accidentally activate a command) and put it on %234 vibration only. pushed the button and have only had to do it twice. I will never use shock. You can increase the vibration and it even has a sound feature. I love this collar and remote set!
Second one, somehow lost the remote to first one. Only need to use the bell tone and she comes running.Replaced our high dollar device and works just as well
Just bought this to help us out with our almost 1-year-old puppy who has terrible temper tantrums, and nothing was working/helping, and we both are so very happy we purchased this. It showed up in less than 36hrs and was easy and quick to put in him, and we have already seen a huge improvement, and without using the shocker
I hate having to shock my dog, but this did work. I wanted to rely on using the sound to get my dog to stop bad behavior but the tone was very low and could not be heard over his barking. The vibrating was okay. The battery did not last long. I would get maybe 2 days out of the collar before it was out of juice. However, the durability is a 10/10. My other dog would pull on it and chew at it when they played and it didn't bother the collar. By the end of it, I had to poke a pencil in there to turn it on, but it worked. I don't recommend if you're wanting to rely on the tone and if you're looking for long battery life. But the durability is great.
The directions to get it set up were so complicated that I just gave up and would like to return it. Can I return it to a store near me, or do I need to mail it back? There was no invoice included, so do not even know how I can return it.
Difficult to assemble. Hard to use remote control. Could not get it to work on the dog but worked on my hand fine. I would advise against wasting your money
wasn't really what I was looking for I was hoping for waterproof and there was a great deal on one that I seen that was like $188 down to 25 or something like that so I mistakenly ordered this one my apologies but I will sure try it out thanks though🤷♀️
It's a great collar when it works. Unfortunately the battery life is lucky to make it 3 days. You basically get no sign that the battery has died other than the collar stops working and your dog stops listening. Remote is cheap, power level button broke in less than 2 weeks and now only works to go up, so have to cycle all the way through to turn it down. Overall, this is a bargain at $20, and like most bargains, it's not worth the price. I wouldn't purchase it again and would look to a more reputable brand.
this shock collar is way too strong it will definitely hurt your dog even with the rubber grippies to protect you it's still shocks higher than it should
