[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I have a personal alarm. I like how easy it is to use, and the size is just right, not too big, not too small. It is very easy to use. Just pull down the keychain (about quarter of an inch) and it will have the loud alarm sound. pushing it back up and it will stop. The bottom also has a LED flashlight that is pretty bright. It's good when I left the office at night by myself in a parking lot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a small, unobtrusive device that is perfect to clip on to an armband, pocket, backpack strap and other similar items. You can also slip it into your pocket. It's about the same size as most key fobs. The clip is pretty strong. To test it, I clipped it to the end of my sleeve {long sleeved shirt} and did a bit of yard work involving a bush-axe. Stayed in place the whole time. The alarm will definitely grab attention. The accompanying literature says that it is 120 decibels and can be heard 600 feet away. I set it off and placed it on a chair in my yard and walked to a spot about that distance away from it and could hear it still though admittedly I live in a rural area and thus have less noise in general than that of an urban area. The flashing light feature is useful to help others see you in low light conditions .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sabre light and alarm keychain came just in time! It's so dark in the evenings now and our patio light went out. It came in handy when I needed a little extra light to unlock the door. The alarm is easy to activate when you pull the pin out or by pressing the light button twice, and the chain stays attached so it's not difficult to disengage it when all is clear. I activated it by accident when I first got it, and it really got my family's attention from the other room. Like the packaging says, no personal safety product can guarantee your safety. But it's good to have options in case of emergency!

Didn't work. Defective upon opening. Immediately returned.

Unfortunately this broke got quickly after I received i & was nonfunctional. I wanted to use as I'm a volunteer camp ranger & sometimes fave domestic violence situations & inebriated individuals.
