SAFAVIEH Lavena Solid Plush Shag Runner Rug, Light Grey, 2'3" x 8'

I have yet to notice any flaws with this rug. It is perfect in my nursery. It’ll look even better once I’ve finished decorating.

Bought this rug for my kids room and it looks great! Good quality and was not expensive.

I absolutely love my shag 9x12 carpet! It is nice and thick! I got the seafoam color -it is a nice turquoise color. It is exactly what my living room needed for a punch of color with all my neutral colors! This is a must have especially for the price! Thank you Wal Mart!

Ok so us apartment people with hardwood floors know the drill...BUY AN AREA RUG. Not only will it save your floors in high traffic areas, but it minimizes noise. Now for the rug itself, Safavieh is a company well known for their chic, semi-affordable, and durable rugs and runners and this rug lives up to the hype!! Its soft, *non shedding, and there is little need for a rug pad, or slip grip if anchored down by a piece of furniture (couch or heavy coffee/console table). The shag fibers are optimal for high traffic areas, kids and pets, its medium pile, and easy to clean. perfect for a cozy movie night on the floor with your lover, or a fun play sesh with your furry friend. (my cat cannot get enough of this rug) also please believe me when I say, these things love red wine more than I do. THIS RUG WILL DRINK IT RIGHT UP SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL. *Hot Tip: you will need to invest in a GOOD vacuum cleaner that wont rip the fibers or leave behind dust/crumbs. I strongly suggest you avoid sweeping this rug, as I find it makes the rug begin to shed a little. nothing crazy but to protect the rug, opt for a quick vacuuming. overall you will be happy with this rug. Its stylish, low maintenance, and neighbor friendly. enjoy! ..

Very nice rug! Soft, thinner than I expected but other than that it’s great! It does have a strong smell but it’ll wear off :)

This was better than I thought. It's not the plushest rug, but for $150 it was exactly what I needed. Good size and good color and works well in our dining room. I couldn't find any other rug this size in this price range.

We needed an area rug for our wood floors to break up the wood, lessen the Echo and add color/texture to our living room. Once it's fluffed up it looks really nice. We have an adjustable height vacuum so maintenance is easy. If we didn't, maintenance might be a little tricky because the shag is pretty long. It's super soft and fluffy carpet, but the mat is not padded. I wasn't really going for "comfy" but it's definitely a step up from the bare wood floor!

I looked for a long time online to find an affordable gray shag rug in a larger size. I was a thrilled to find an 8x10 for less than $200. The rug was slightly lighter in color than I thought, but nicer quality than in the picture. It compliments our charcoal gray couches and blue-gray walls beautifully. It seems so far to vacuum very easily. I feared my Dyson vacuum would be too powerful for an inexpensive shag and the rug didn't have any problems. I would recommend this rug to anyone who wants a trendy, high end look for a fraction of the price.

My entire apartment has vinyl floors and this was Exactly what I was looking for my living room. Thin and Light weight, but not in a bad way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not quite as cushy as I thought but a nice rug fir the price.
