Safco Under-Desk Steel Frame Printer/Fax Stand in Black

I don't use this under my desk but rather along side of it. I needed a new printer stand to replace the "old" coffee table that I was using a printer stand. When I remodeled my home office, I was looking for a small stand that would save me space, this printer stand is great. I put my printer on the top and my modem/router & cords on the bottom. The wire shelf provides air circulation for devices that were previously on the floor. I ordered the printer stand in gray, it matches my gray printer and my gray filing cabinet.

I have little space for more than my computer on the table, I needed space for my printer and the stand is perfect under the table. Sturdy and the gray color is perfect.

We purchased this item for our small apartment and wanted something to go underneath our desk. And it is perfect. It is easy to put together less than 30 minutes. It holds our very large brother printer. If your looking for a sturdy inexpensive printer stand this is it.

I got just what I needed. My HP printer was sitting on the floor. I needed a low stand to place beside my desk, or to be able to slide under my desk for more space. This stand does both. Easy assembly. It includes a rack underneath to hold printer paper.

I was a little concerned about how sturdy this stand would be because of the price, but it's extremely sturdy, just the right size and height for my printer to fit under the knee space on the front side of my desk out of my way (not my side). Great product!

We have a fairly large laser printer that was taking up valuable space on my desk. We put the printer on the floor for awhile, but this made it a play target for the cats...and attracted too much dust. As it turned out, the dimensions of this stand made it a near-perfect fit for our printer. I ordered it and (with free shipping) the stand arrived in just a couple of days. Set-up was easy...maybe 10 minutes...as we have a few metro-wire shelf units that are the same type of assembly. Assembling the unit requires that the wheels be placed on the upright metal pieces and plastic interlocking pieces added at the level each shelf will be installed. There are several possible positions for the lower shelf, but you get more storage space on the shelf if you install it low, close to the wheels. Be sure to put the interlocking pieces in with the narrower part up...and ensure the pieces rest within a notch on the uprights before installing each shelf. After the lower shelf is installed, the plastic interlock pieces are placed at the highest level and the top put in place. If either shelf doesn't readily move into place, you may have the plastic pieces upside down. Be sure to push down on each shelf to seat it in place. The printer stand looks handsome where we have it...which is not under the desk but along side it. We like that it has locking casters and is fairly inconspicuous. It's a sturdy, decent quality product that probably should be priced a bit lower.

I have worked on this rolling stand for some time and I still cannot get it level. Frustrating at the very least. The directions have wonderful pictures. Step 1, step 2 and step 3- are good. Step 4 is difficult as the legs slip out of the bottom shelf. However, step 5 .... the top is not perfectly aligned and nearly impossible to do. I tried several times and the top "ate" the connectors multiple times. We have one of these at work I it is very well made and works great. It is level and does not bog down. Too bad this one is not of the same quality.

The stand itself is very sturdy and solid. The issue is with the shelf that attaches on the bottom. There is nothing to hold it in place so if you press to hard on it, or put heavy books or paper on it, it falls onto the wheel casters. Other than that issue, it's a great stand. It rolls nicely, is the perfect size, and looks great.
