I use this as I take my dog to work each day. It allows me and my staff to get in and out of the office easily with the gate. It also allows us to leave the door open to speak to customers and guests. Which allows us to have nice air flow through the office. As a side note I would say it keeps customers out of our office which normally they just walk in and plant themselves . So it ensures us to keep some privacy in our office. So it gives us even more advantages than we thought it would. We love it. The gate is very easy to open and close. And I love that it opens both in and out for good flexability! It's also very sturdy and made out of mostly metal. I would defiantly buy again or recommend.

Novice tip: Don't forget to measure from your molding/trim, we were a few centimeters off due to that not being added in our measurements. So we had to Change some pieces and no use others. User error on our part 😅 but it's still good, our dog has tried to push it down to no avail, and it doesn't damage the wall with the pressure and soft caps. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love these. After getting a new puppy we needed to be able to confine him to various areas of the house depending on where we were and these make it so easy to open and close for both people and pets. I'll never use an old fashioned tension gate again. The 2nd best part? Zero damage to the walls or doorways when we take them down. We won't need them forever and it won't require repair when that time comes. We will just put them in storage until the next time they are needed.

This is more customizable than others. The sides aren't one piece making my specific install easier than cutting or modifying the gate. I had to have the bottom skinnier than the top. This gate was easily changed without cutting or breaking it. Perfect fit for me!

This gate is great. Looks nice, easy to install and I love the fact that you can adjust it to swing in both direction or select only in or only out. I find that feature great for extra safety at the bottom. I don't have to worry about my puppy pushing in at the bottom because I put the lever down to only swing out. it is easy to open with one hand too.

I have used this brand of gate for my dogs before, but my old one closes automatically which meant that I had to prop the gate open if I wanted to walk through it freely rather than uninstall it. The new one that I bought is exactly the same gate except without the automatic closure which is much more convenient and a bit lower price. It's a nice sturdy gate and one of the few that is narrow enough for my 100-year-old house's doorways.

this gate is the perfect size to keep kids and pets safe. also protects whatever is in your room that you don't want them to touch! just make sure that when you are installing it, that you are careful to make sure that the green in the latch is visible fully when it is closed.

Overall it was an easy installation. It does now at the bottom. Not sure if it was our walls. When you open the gate there is a bar at the bottom that you have to step over. If you have an elderly person, or someone with a disability they can find it difficult and also become dangerous to step over without falling.

The screw on the bottom of the gate would not screw in all the way no matter what my husband and I tried. It appears as if the hole in the frame was not cut exactly right and thus will not align properly. Also, when the gate is fully tightened and ready to use, the bottom corner of the swinging door is warped. We have to keep the swing stop in the down position to keep it from jutting out. Not a bad product for 50 dollars, but it definitely has its issues. Not worth it for me to box it up and return it.

I was unable to assemble this gate to the point where it could actually be latched. There was a big gap between the two pieces. I finally gave up after spending way too much time after following the less than stellar instructions step by step. I did a ton of research to find a gate with the dimensions I needed to fit where I intended to place it, which was to block a stairway from my small dog with arthritis. it would have been ideal had it been possible to actually assemble it to where it worked.
