Sailor Moon R: The Complete Second Season (Blu-ray)

I remember seeing Sailor Moon for the very first time it aired back on my birthday, September 11 2015 (I turned 15). I remember loving the unique Japanese anime right away but also remembered how old the picture quality looked. It was amazing to find out it was only 3 years old at that time! But not anymore - Sailor Moon R (SMR) on bluray is just GORGEOUS! The way it was meant to be seen! It looks brand new and no longer has an extra pink hue to the colors due to aging film. The discs play very well, and this bluray set is so small that it doesn't take up much room at all (It's less than 1/4 of the size of my SMR DVD set). What's great, too, is that even though SMR is one of the longest seasons, it's still the same price as the other seasons ($25). Great price and highly recommended for anime fans - Your future self will thank you!! (And yes, that's a reference to the future storyline in R ;)

Sailor Moon season 2 came in great condition at a price that is much better than other places like Crunchyroll that sell each season in part at a much higher price.

After being damaged and initiating a return, the item quickly arrived as expected the second time around with no damage and the situation was made right.

The second season of the sailor moon anime. It's good and nice that parts and lines that were taken out were restored.

I really like the new dub which is faithful to the original. No more Serena and Darian. I liked the art gallery and extras included. Can watch in English or Japanese. Really happy that the whole season is together and not divided in parts.

They know sailor moon fans will go broke easily like Beatles fans, charging $60 for half a season since 2014 until the release of stars. I have all 5 box sets from VIZ each with the box and booklets from the “limited editions.” Seasons 1-3 looked horrible. People complained. This outshines the two part blu-ray release with the orange label. (Each season has its own color such as “SuperS” being green.) SuperS and Stars were the best looking of the original Viz sets Btw. Take these discs out of the case and put them in your old box sets. It has the same special features just different menus. The picture difference is night and day. They did this to milk every sailor moon fan and it's obvious. They know we are going to buy the season all over again. And that's what we are doing.
