[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these oil pastels. They draw so smooth and they smudge out very nicely. They come with 36 colors so these are perfect for someone who needs a whole set to create beautiful art with. These are good for advanced or even children to use.

The product was nicely packaged and have a wonderful array of colors for a beginner to experiment with.The sticks are soft and blend together nicely, I am enjoying trying different combinations of color.Happy with the oils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These oil pastels have a great variety of colors/shades and are a thinner type, great for pencil type drawings. The colors spread wonderfully and don't bleed when blended together. Their size is just perfect for grip while still enough to use for a good length of work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pastels have really pretty bright colors, a large range and variety, and they are really well pigmented, buildable, and blend really nicely without a big mess. You can layer one color for more coverage without scraping the other layer away, I really like them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved my Sakura Cray-pas Expressionist Oil Pastels, 36 Color Set, as a gift and i love coloring/ drawing but what it really works well with is drawing and coloring in conjunction with my husbands model railroad set..I just love how wonderful the colors are.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would consider my skill level with painting with different mediums as not quite a beginner, but creeping into intermediate. I had a hard time working with these, the consistency is like lipstick. I could not get them to layer, and blending just turned it pretty muddy. It helped a little if I worked and then let it set a little bit and went back. However, I found it the nicest looking when I basically was left with just the staining of the pastel. I'll keep working with them to try to find the learning curve, but they are definitely not beginner friendly.
