Salon Perfect Nail Polish, 413 Moon Beam, 0.5 fl oz

I like it better alone for drying it seems to take off the color underneath if you use it as a top coat unless you put thin very thin coats on. Really thin coats and let it dry for longer then normal before doing a second top coat so it doesn't give that sticky feeling. The color underneath was an opi stop drop n whoa that didn't amaze me I wasn't happy so I put this over. Went from a dull metallic purple to this mermaid color I actually like.

This is such a gorgeous shimmery shade! The sheer cool toned mauvey-gray plays with the blue/green iridescent shimmer so well! In some lighting the shimmer goes a pinkish nude color. It has a thin applicator brush which is not my favorite as it tends to make my application look streakier but this polish handles really well and even with the shimmers it self levels quickly and does not have harsh lines. I also found that two coats dried very quickly! For the price point this is a good polish with such a unique and pretty shimmer!

I really liked the Moon Beam nail polish shade from Salon Perfect. It is a neutral shade that goes with anything and the iridescent shimmer makes it a little more exciting than a flat color polish. You can do one coat for sheer coverage or two or three coats for opaque vibrant coverage. I topped off with a clear coat and preventing premature chipping that way. The drying time was pretty quick and didn't have that gummy tackiness to it like other polishes have.

I really love the color of this nail polish! It's holographic and shimmery. It is a sheer color but I actually like putting it on by itself on my natural nails for just a pop of color. This works great on top of other colors too. Another great thing is just how quickly this dries! It probably took two-ish minutes! It applies very smoothly too.

This is a sheer but buildable shimmer polish. I found that on its own 3-4 coats makes it opaque. It is a really pretty color. The base is almost greige with a blue shimmer. I also tested it on top of a white, black, and blue base. I liked the blue base the best. It dried faster than a traditional crème polish. The brush was nice and not too wide which I liked.

I'm actually so pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy this polish! It applies in a thin even layer and dries quickly! I also love how the pearly finish on the shade moon beam I received. It did get chipped after a few days but I'm a nurse so all regular polishes do that for me so I'm not docking a star for that. Will continue using when I want that pearly shiny finish on my nails!

I got the colored moon beam. It is like a blue shimmery nail polish color that really fits for the summer. It's a light shimmery coat that that works perfectly for those that just wants clean nails but not want to use the typical it's. The application is very easy doesn't clump up and it's very quick drying time too.

This color is so pretty in person. 413 Moon Beam is this soft, shimmery silver shade that looks almost holographic in certain lighting but still feels wearable and subtle - not too bold or glittery. I love that it has that ethereal vibe without being too much. The formula is smooth and not streaky at all, which I appreciate since pale shades can sometimes be tricky. I did two coats, and it built up beautifully with a really nice glossy finish even before using a top coat. It dried pretty fast too, which is always a plus. It lasted me around 5 days before I noticed any real chipping, and that's without doing anything special to extend the wear. For the price, the quality is very good. Definitely one of those colors I'll keep going back to when I want something soft but still eye-catching.

Overall I feel like this is an ok nail polish. I didn't necessarily love the color. Like I feel like it would be good over another color and not on its own. That also could just be because I'm not the best at doing my own nails so it didn't spread quite right. It did chip after about 3 days so just a warning on that.

It's pretty thin so you can layer it to make it more opaque if you want. I actually prefer this one a bit sheer, but that's just personal preference. It dries super fast too so the wait between layers isn't bad at all. It didn't chip much but I will say that this polish doesn't last quite as long as more expensive ones. Still, if you're on a budget, this is a great polish to buy!
