Sam's Choice Organic Vegan Protein Broth, 32 fl oz (Shelf-Stable)

Creamy and 9g of protein a plus!!

I absolutely love this broth! In trying to eat healthier, I made a homemade soup by just tossing numerous packages of organic vegetables into a pot. I tried this broth and it made my soup so delicious! I LOVE my soup and eat it every day for lunch! Unfortunately, Walmart has been out of this broth for several weeks. I tried a regular vegetable broth in it's place and now my soup isn't very tasty. I hope Walmart gets this broth back in stock soon. I miss my tasty soup!

I'd never tried this before, but had a recipe that called for it. Made the soup today and... holy cow, it's so good! I love that it makes a cream-like soup but doesn't burn to the bottom of the pan like a dairy-based broth would. Everyone in my family loved the soup, even the picky ones. Will definitely pick this up again.

This stuff is a vegan pantry staple in my house. I make a wonderful creamy vegetable soup. Combining this broth at the base with some vegetable broth to temper it, I add many different roasted vegetables including edamame and peas. It is a go-to quick and easy dinner that meets all my requirements. The only issue is you have to watch how long and how you cook it because it will break you can still eat it and it still tastes good it just looks a little scary! But this is far and away the best way to add a little creaminess to any soup!

This is the only broth we use for our vegan dishes because it is creamier than regular vegetable broth and it has a great flavor. Works great in Curries! It is not always available in our local store so I was happy to order several online. Arrived quickly and packed well. This is how I will get it from now on.

LOVE THIS STUFF! It is such a great base for any kind of soup or just sipping, warmed up, in cold weather. I do wonder how long the shelf life should be. I think it's usually a few months but I just opened a case I bought in March. It expires in a few days. :/ I guess I need to make and freeze a bunch of soup!

This broth is fabulous. It makes 'cream of mushroom' or mock-chicken soup with chopped veggies (try tofu cubed as it 'absorbs flavors and gives some heft - or separately cooked barley added in). The 4 stars is due to its sodium level. There is no low-sodium option, and it's high = regular soup high <- which is high. I cut with water and aromatic veggies (onion, garlic, carrots). And, dried onion and garlic really works if you just want a less salty soup base. No need to create-the-wheel if you just need a big old pan of soup. Enjoy.

I ordered 13 cartons. I received 2 that were expired on 5/23/22. Vegan protein broth is very hard to find. I use it for stretching soups and making soups that need a cream have a purée base. It is versatile for many recipes, I need it for nutrition as sometimes I have to go on a liquid diet due to health issues. It can be chunky or have settled or congealed soy in it, so one really needs to shake it.

I used this when cooking my dry peas. I add water, onions and little pepper with broth. The flavor is beyond delicious. My mother who is a old school cook asked what I used because my Lima beans were so well seasoned. My daughter says I was tricking the family to convert to vegan...lol

Great product. But cannot give a higher rating due to OUT-OF-STOCK 9/10th of the times I try to purchase it
