I just received this tv so I can't comment on it's longevity, but I am not having any of of problems others had. there is a slight lag between the remote and the tv. but not enough to bother me. I have a Samsung phone and tablet, as well as an account do set up was extremely easy. No problems connecting my dvd player via HDMI nor any issues connecting my bluetooth earbuds. The soynd is quite loud on 100%, but not so loud playing a dvd. I'm returning that and have ordered something else. I found this tv easy ro navigate and use, and I'm 74 but pretty tech savvy. Also the picture is great. I find the remote the same as others I've had and easy to use. There was no screen protector on when I got it, that I can tell. I also love that I can access Samsung TV Plus!! I will be keeping this tv.
I wanted a tv to fit in my faux mantle. This one fit. There seems to be a little shadowing on the top of the screen at times. Time will tell if it gets worse or if it is just from what I am watching at the time. Over all a good TV.
TV is fine. Installation not as easy as it used to be (to me) Used to plug and play. Now- if you choose to install with their app- it’s a PAIN Skip the app and use the remote to install. You can skip ALOT using the remote. The app won’t let you SKIP. Boo.
First I want to comment on website experience. At tge checkout, there should be no more options so one could not get confused, revisit again and again. One should checkout easily and with peace of mind. Ok, the product quality was 8/10 on ROI , also no key was available in the pack for screws.
Don’t love that it has borders. Some shows can see lines across image. Do like that it has security features and seems to work on WPA-3, don’t like that it wasn’t listed anywhere in the 75 page manual online and was impossible to find this info. So far so good, got as a Black Friday deal to replace a Roku with poor to no support and security. I don’t love the remote that is nearly the same as a blue ray from 7-12 years ago as in can’t tell them apart and not ergonomic to hold. Easy to mount versus other models have no wall mount holes. This is decent aa a bedroom unit or when space is limited or you don’t like. a TV taking up all wall space, which I prefer to assign to actual art. Really decent unit for the price. I’m not willing to pay more for an item with only a 1 year warranty and out of date so soon with evolving tech. Seems like Samsung will support security updates for at least 5 years from what I read somewhere. I am hoping this is the case.
The price and availability of a Samsung 32 inch TV can be the challenge. I chose this 32 for approximately 150.00 vs. the 450.00 Samsung 32 inch. It is slow in initial connection to WiFi when powered on. Lags on response to remote also but I just can't justify a 450.00 purchase price for the other Samsung 32 inch Smart TV. Picture quality is satisfactory but sound is not up to par. I purchase a Samsung sound bar to supplement the sound. For some reason this 32 inch TV will not maintain an active connection to the Samsung Smart Things App. It is a decent TV for the price.
The photo of the remote in the product that I purchased showed a remote that had a timer button on it. I was very disappointed to get this item and the remote DID NOT HAVE A TIMER BUTTON. I feel this product was misrepresented. I chatted with someone earlier and they said no problem just ship it back. Well I had dismantled everything and my old television was given away to make room for the new one. I live 1.5 hours from the closest Walmart which is why I had the item delivered. I have ordered many things and they have always been just as described. I am really disappointed with this televisions remote and how hard it is to get to the timer which is why i selected this television with this remote. Television seems fine so far but it has only been a day in use. Don't know if this is a Samsung issue or a Walmart issue. Don't believe the photos of the remote - yours will arrive looking sadly different.
This was the absolute worst tv to connect to wifi. You first must create a Samsung account, then download a separate app. It should not take 4 hours to figure out how to get this to connect to your wifi account. It should not take 6 factory resets to start all over to do all of the necessary steps between using your phone and the tv remote at the same time. Then you use your phone as the remote. While the price, picture and sound are great, the setup is not worth the aggravation.
Unfortunately I didn't receive my tv. A picture was taken and sent to me,but when I got home the tv wasn't at my address. I have messaged fedex and walmart without any resolutions. I have just been given the run around.
I disliked it vecause i had it for less than 2 to 3 months and the keyboard sound and display started acting up. Its like I was given a faulty motherboard in it. Good Luck Trying to get a refund ot get a warranty replacement from company who made it. They are unreliable. Save your money buy a more reliable company.
