After regrettably trying a different brand for the first time in many years after just 8 months i could go no longer with such a lesser product and i am so happy, Samsung products just deliver the best and for as long as possible i won't change brands again. Just puts its competitors in the shadows
The TV is very easy to set up and use. The picture is crystal clear and it has a gaming mode which is the main reason I brought it. I love everything about it. It has great sound, looks good, and a very reasonable price.
Had tv for a couple of weeks now and too be honest with you picture is fantastic l really notice the difference from my led colours are great all in all it's a Beast
Love this tele. It's HUGE. Anyone sitting on the fence, if you can afford it, buy it!
i opened the box today, got it mounted and hooked up and turned on and updated. so far picture is very good and for me it will be a learning curve which i expected. my problem which i will try to post a pic is that on the front left of the screen there is a small bar code label that looks to be difficult to remove and has some residue that i do not know how to get off without damaging the screen. i tried a chat but will apparently need to call someone during business hours. i really can't believe a sticker like this was placed on the front.
The concept and the design are definitely good. However, image is bad in many ways. The one thing that I couldn't bear was the white image flickering - every time the screen shows any intense whites, it flickers at a high frequency which is very unpleasant. Other than that, motion process is below average - if a dark object moves fast on a white background, you'll see a lot of ghosting and a trail. Lastly, QLED TVs should excel on contrast, but how can they do that if the black isn't black? The startup screen shows how uneven the blacks are, with light grey patches all over the screen (see attached image)
They replaced my panel two times because of light coming from corners and hazy white light bleed through. The last one is just worse and now they won't do anything! I'm done with Samsung TVs. I don't reccomend qled especially bad, as my older ones were great for at least the first few years. I have a Bright room, so they look great during the day, however, at night the white light that comes from the corners and middle is distracting. Especially if you are watching a movie with lots of black scenes.
MY TV suffers exactly the same problem as the problem reported by another individual a month ago (entitled 'White Spots.' Basically, in dark scenes, the TV shows large patches of washed out blacks. It's awful. I have contacted Samsung Support and like the other poster I am just told that the TV is operating within specification. Of course, there is nothing stated within the specification that hints at this problem, to the contrary, it is sold as a top end TV. I see that the other "White Spots" poster has been advised to liaise with Customer Support to explore alternative solutions. I have tried and tried this already, to no avail. Samsung just tell me that the way in which the TV has been designed means these washed out patches are inevitable. I could not be more disappointed. The problem only manifests itself in darker scenes, so I think this TV would only be suitable to those who only watch TV that contains bright, vibrant images (e.g. not night scenes etc).
this tv is by no means worth it. a buddy of mine got the q70 and was raving about it, so i decided to try out the q60 thinking there wasnt enough of a difference to justify the q70's price. i was wrong. the edge lighting is absolutely unbearable, deep blacks are no where near black, in fact they are better on my 8 year old vizio. the bleeding is insane and i honestly don't know how this tv exists. just buy the q70.
tv came broke cant seem to get to the right person to get it fixed have had a ticket open since this thing came. my reviews keep getting censored hopefully this one doesnt. i cant stress enough how bad this experience has been. product is broken. i have asked for managers to help this is my plea.
