Samsung Galaxy A16 5G A Series 128GB Unlocked Android Cell Phone with 50MP Camera, Blue Black

I just wanted a basic functional phone unlocked so I can change carriers. This phone is a HUGE improvement from my Motorola moto g power! Motorola builds a sturdy phone but offers NO support. This Samsung fills the bill for my needs and has future support and updates from Android. It does goofy stuff sometimes but I'm still in the learning curve. Totally satisfied.

I was told "Open Box" meant it was new, but had been opened. I received a used phone with terrible battery life so needs recharging constantly. Battery life is worse than the phone it replaced that I had for a few years. Other than battery, the phone is alright.

This new item came with OLD software that could NOT be updated by me or a talented friend. The phone message: "visit service center". The service center charges $99 to update to the software that should have been on the phone at the time of purchase! Also: lots of unnecessary apps on phone that cannot be turned off, causing the battery to need charging almost daily. Also: way too much personal data collection that cannot be inactivated.

this was unlock and my phone. Samsung would change Google back to Samsung. the settings would change every day back to Samsung settings. a nitemare! people would not hear on a call. i do not want this phone or any Samsung product. Samsung has too much control. nothing i could do to resolve problems.

I dont know what the issue is with this phone here. Weve only had this phone for 3 months and it has warped. No kidding. Ive never seen this before. My husband takes his phone everywhere, including when he works in the yard. Its always attached to his hip. He was outside mowing the yard, stopped to take a break, pulled out his phone and it was bowed and a small crack was starting. I dont know if this thing is a recall or a defect or what? Im warning everyone dont waste your money.

"This seller is running a blatant bait-and-switch operation. I ordered what was supposed to be a new flagship phone, but I received a low-end Galaxy A16 (UPC: 00887276928708) disguised in fraudulent packaging. The most disturbing part is the physical tampering. The box arrived with a cheap, third-party thermal label slapped directly over the original factory seal. You can actually see the original text and barcodes peeking out from underneath. This is a clear attempt to hide that the box has been opened, the original contents likely swapped, and the device potentially compromised with malicious software or tracking. By allowing this seller to remain active, Walmart is facilitating criminal fraud and exposing customers to severe security risks. I am reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and local consumer protection. I will never shop at Walmart again until they stop hosting these dangerous 'Marketplace' scammers. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER unless you want to be robbed."

When i was using this phone, it constantly kept crashing. i could not use multiple apps at all. The phone would freeze ALL THE TIME. I've talked to people who have this phone, and they have no issues at all. I would not recommend buying from this seller. I had to bite the bullet, and by my ultra 26. You knew you sold me a bad phone that has to be constantly restarted. Shame on you.

TERRIBLE.... no way to get phone to do updates.... even took it to local phone store. 2 months in and it won't connect to wifi, can't make phone calls - about the only thing it seems to do is text.... but Samsung messaging is going away this month (7-26). After looking at other Samsung reviews, even the newer phones are experiencing similar issues. NO more Samsungs - and this was a waste..... we bought 2 and can not return. A return policy of 14 days unopened feels a bit unfair at ths point.

Very disappointed with this seller and Walmart. The item was shipped so late I had to buy it elsewhere. The seller denied accountability saying that it was shipped by Walmart and Walmart denied they could cancel it because it had "already been shipped" which wasn't true. All that they did was print the FedEx label so it appeared to have been shipped. Walmart then refunded me because it had been "lost." Which was fine. Until now, when I finally got the package delivered and now I have to go through the hassle of returning it. Very frustrating and a waste of my time

This is supposed to be an unlocked phone but it is NOT. When you turn it on it says "Verizon". I spent 3 hours on the phone with my carriers customer service and they were unable to make my voicemail work, they said that Verizon has embedded something in the phone.
