They will not connect to the S26 Ultra. I tried multiple times to connect the tag but it just keeps giving me an error code.
I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 (4 Pack, Black and White) for a few weeks now, mainly for keys, backpack, and luggage. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to do, but there are a few trade-offs you need to be aware of before buying. Setup is straightforward if you’re already in the Samsung ecosystem. Pairing with the SmartThings app takes just a few minutes, and once connected, tracking is smooth and responsive. The Compass View and Search Nearby features actually work well, especially when you’re close to the item. Battery life is one of the biggest positives. Samsung claims up to 500 days, and based on early usage, it looks realistic. The tags also feel durable, with IP67 water and dust resistance, so using them outdoors or on luggage is not a concern. The redesigned loop makes it easy to attach without extra accessories, which is a practical improvement over older models. That said, there are some clear limitations. The biggest one is that it only works with Samsung Galaxy devices, so if you’re not fully in that ecosystem, it’s basically useless. Also, tracking accuracy depends on nearby Samsung devices in the SmartThings Find network, so performance can vary depending on location. Another minor issue is the size, it’s slightly bulkier than competitors like AirTag, so it’s noticeable on smaller items like keychains. Pros Easy setup with Samsung phones Strong battery life, easily over a year Durable, water and dust resistant Useful directional tracking features 4 pack offers good value per tag Cons Locked into Samsung ecosystem Tracking network not as strong everywhere Slightly bulky design No ultra precise tracking compared to some competitors Ratings Features: 4/5 Performance: 4/5 Design: 4/5 Value: 4/5
One of the most useful products Samsung ever created. I keep a pull tab on the right side of my screen. When I need to find my keys, or my badge for work, or the remote, whatever...I just pull the tab out and I have little pictures/icon that go with each tag. I click on say..the car key 🔑 pictures, then hit find, and then ring. I follow the sound, and BOOM, im on my way. No more losing half an hour while trying to leave the house. Samsung..."The way of the future".
Very happy with Samsung SmartTag2 tracker 4 pack. Excellent value. Hubby has misplaced truck fob multiple times and the tracker, which can be monitored on the Smart Things app, has offered piece of mind by showing the location on the map, and then pinpointing until found. Setup was easy and trackers can be reset as well. Highly recommend.
GPS MAPPING OF THIS DEVICE IS FROM GOOGLE MAPS FROM AN ELEVATION OF (GUESSING) 1000' ELEVATION. IF YOU NEED CLOSER DISTANCE IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.
Samsung has always been great at making my purchases feel personalized. The products and services are always above par and excellent quality thank you samsung.
I hide a Samsung SmartTag2 in my truck, my backpack, and each piece of my luggage. This paid off well on my last trip when the airline lost my suitcase. I was able to tell them exactly where it was and it was returned to me the next day.
Small and can operate other functions when programmed with other appliances like my S90C QD-OLED , they work VERY well minus One ISSUE the AR feature doesn't work on my Samsung galaxy S25 Ultra which is a downer. Other than that cant ask for anything more if ine is invested in the ecosystem.
Do NOT BUY from this seller. They took my payment and never delivered my item. I contacted Walmart and they contacted them to reach out to me. They never did. I finally had to contact Walmart again. My order was supposed to arrive on 9/16. Order from another seller if you don't want them to take your money and never ship out product.
I bought my smart tags on Feb 8, and I am already getting low battery alerts less than a month later. These tags are 1000 percent better than the google tracker ones, but the battery life is horrendous. I'm done with android trackers for now, hopefully something better will come along.
