My water filter. I change it every six months. The freezer part works perfect. I get to see what’s going on into my refrigerator. I get to watch TV listen to music. I love this refrigerator. This is the only original unit that fits my refrigerator perfectly, an original replacement. All others had fit issues, newer units are too big, or concern about fakes. This one is real, fridge water now works as well (or better) than original. High water pressure immediately returned and quality water is the result.

There is a magmatic label with QR code can shows if this product is legit. However, this product fail the test which means it is a fake. 5 is fake and I got 17597

Beware. I apparently received two counterfeit filters. Genuine Samsung filters can be verified by two means. 1. A visual change to a tab you peel off and place on top of a magnet provided in the package. 2. Scanning the QR code on the filter. Neither filter passed either test! Amazingly, the filters look identical to the real thing! Afterward, I bought another filter from Lowe’s and it passed both tests of authenticity!
