Excellent product

I use these sanding sponges for the final sanding before I apply a finish. I also use them to gently round over edges. They are very easy and comfortable to hold. They last about as long as regular sandpaper, maybe a bit longer. When they load up I clean them by throwing them on my workbench or vacuuming with a shop vac. Overall I find them very effective and easy to use.

Absolutely fabulous sanding block the grit doesn't seem to breakdown like with sand paper sands perfectly flat and is great for sanding contours as well two thumbs up.

I used this originally for a craft to sand the edges of cut wooden sticks before they were used. Afterwards I plan to use it to sand paint off my porch swing before we repaint it. Thanks 3M for making this versatile product that's easy hold as well as easy to use.

For a relatively expensive item the first sponge I used - coarse on a slightly curved piece of driftwood - deteriorated to useless in less than 10 minutes. So during if I ha e missed something I have looked for instructions to no avail. I will return the sponges I haven't used yet.

This sanding sponge is worthless! Bought the roughest grit (36) and it barely removes paint let alone smoothing the surface under the paint (wood filler). Spent 20 mins and now the sponge feels gritless and surface still no where close to smooth!

As you can see in the photo, I will not be able to use one side of this sanding sponge.
