DAP DryDex 8 oz Pink/White Dry Time Indicator Spackling All Purpose

Purchased to use with our granddaughter on her mask project. Worked well in applying over cardboard to mold and smooth. Sanded well after drying. Love goes on pink and dries white. Plan to use on walls where nail heads are. Cleans up easily with water. Comes in a variety of sizes.

great price. We had too any holes to count in a 10 by 12 room but we still have leftovers! We love how it changes to white when so you can start painting. i shared one wall photos but all four walls were bad

i like that it is pink color and turns white to let you know its dry. great for filling in holes from hangings pictures or shelves or in my case when the kids open doors too hard and the knob hitting the wall. great for cracks as well . sand over and paint and it looks good as new.

I am using this product as part of a craft project, and not for its original purpose. I have created a textured canvas to put on my wall above my fireplace that I do not use. It is not quick drying, which serves my purposes for this project as I can go back and re-texturize over and over again until it looks the way I desire. I can layer on as much or as little as I like in order to get the right texture. I can remove the product before it dries if I desire that as well. All in all, I am extremely happy with this product for the purpose that I am using it for. It spreads easily. It has a somewhat creamy consistency. I am in the process of painting over it with acrylic paint and the paint is vibrant and the texture stands out nicely.

I used this spackle to patch a bit of drywall that had been dented. It’s pink when it’s wet so it’s incredibly easy to see where you have added previous layers. The dried spackle can be sanded before applying paint for a smooth finish. It’s also easy to wash off even if any gets on clothes. There isn’t a strong smell to it either. Drys fast and gives good coverage.

This works really well for fixing chips or minor dents in the wall! It starts off pink and turns white when dry! Easy to use %26 quick drying.

i stenciled palm fronds using DAP spackling for a 3-D effect in my bathroom and it worked great!

Does indeed dry completely white. Pink means it's still drying. Used to patch a couple holes, fill in some gaps.

i really liked this stuff until i realized i could get the same thing for a qaurter of the price, it just doesn't change color.. big whoop cheaper stuff works just as good!
