Has elastic in the back and the ties are long enough and stretchy so you can tie them in the back or the front. My daughter loves it! Better than others she has tried.

Nicely made. In our experience, if you have a small head, or thin hair, it doesnt stay on throughout the night. Might not be the right one for a child unless they have a lot of hair.
