The additional storage is flexible, and more than adequate. In addition to being a very attractive piece of office furniture, this desk is easy to assemble. The instructions are accurate and easy to follow. The only times I almost made a mistake was when I had not followed the instructions to the letter. Sauder ready-to-assemble are the mainstay of my office.

Great looking desk

We have the desk in our recently remodeled living room. We purchased the white/off white one, I love the color/patina of it. It goes so perfectly with our farrmhouse decor. It arrived in SEVERAL pieces, which was a little overwhelming at first, but my husband did a great job following the instructions which were very clear for the most part.

Beautiful desk for the price. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I ordered it three times due to the fact that the first two times it came damaged. It was very heavy and difficult to load up and bring back to Walmart for a return.

As the item is a customer assemble product is fell in tune with all other IKEA style purchases. There were the expected frustrations as some parts did not meet the alignment specs, but over very satisfied with the product as it meets the needs of fuctunality.

It took me a while to assemble this product. I found the directions to be quite unclear at times. Some of the pieces do not clearly show which is the top or bottom. I put most of the desk together and then when I flipped it over, one of the pieces was upside down and I had to disassemble half of it to fix it. Also I found I needed someone to help me assemble the side parts where you have to kind of bend the side piece and fit it into the the two other pieces. It also took me a good hour playing around with all the drawers to finally get them to fit properly. It was a very frustrating process. I probably spent about 12 hours total (over the course of three days) putting it together. It came out nice but if I had known how complicated it was to assemble, I probably would not have ordered it.

Desk top came out of the box with a noticeable dent that bulged the top surface and a nick in the the opposite side edge that catches on your forearm as you work at the desk. I put glue on the nicked edge to keep the nick from catching on clothing and becoming worse. Unfortunately the dent with the bulge is quite noticeable! The surface feels soft and easy to damage. I'm making sure to always write with a notepad under the document and I put felt feet on the desk accessories to protect the desk top. I do like the color and design and the look of the pull handles. The desk size gives a nice workspace even with a 27"" computer screen. Assembled easily.

Like the look of the desk overall, but took nearly 6 hours to put all of it together. It all went pretty smooth until the center drawer and the small drawer on the upper right. We had 2 drill new holes for the center drawer to work, and it still doesn't move just right . The upper right hand drawer doesn't fit flush to to the desk. I don't think this is how it's supposed to be according to the pictures, but it doesn't work any other way. Overall, it's sturdy and nice looking, but I don't think I will purchase this brand again!

It is very cheap, the materials are not engineered wood, they are fiber board and MDF. I open the box get some boards, then I decided that I need to get my money back
