Sauder O'Sullivan Multimedia Storage Tower, Cinnamon Cherry Finish

The product went together well and easy. It looks great. We bought Sauder because we have several other Sauder items, and have been very pleased with them over the years. The specs state that you can store up to 280 DVDs. Don't quite know how they figure that low number unless they are using DVDs in commercial vynal jackets. We pack our DVDs in hard plastic cases, and have room for up to 1,200 DVDs without using the top of the unit. That is really neat for us. We actually are using the unit at our TV Station (KRHP-TV-14) to store some of the local TV programs we produce.

I have been needing a multimedia storage but was frustrated how short they all were. This went together easily and was mostly a one woman (yes, I did it) job. I secured the bottom one to the wall into a stud from the inside, not the outside as directed. I secured the top in the same way. I will get a bracket to secure the top and bottom together on the unseen side. This is not the recommended use, however, this is exactly what I wanted!! see picture

We ordered two of these to hold our DVDs and Blu-Rays. We have somewhere in the 500 range. The towers were super easy to set up and when placed side by side look like one media center. They look very nice and because they were used for DVDs we have two extra shelves which I plan to buy brackets for and put in my daughters room for knick-knacks. These are a great buy!!

Putting this together took a bit of time, but if you want it to be done right you MUST take your time and go step by step. The finished Storage Center Looks Fantastic. This unit holds all of my DVD's with plenty of room for future DVD's or CD's. I used the top for my 27" Seiki HD TV and it fits perfectly. How can you go wrong for under $40.00. I highly recommend this. Shipment was very fast and the packaging protected the product Very, Very well.

It looked liked the largest DVD shelf by far for the low price it costs. I ordered two units and they both arrived in good condition with no damage. I modified them a little so that they were mounted together on top of each other. I had one unit that was 90" tall and barely cleared the ceiling. It works great this way! Just take the top shelf of one unit and drill holes into it so that it screws up into the second unit. Do not use the deepest bottom shelf on the second unit.

Tower is very easy to assemble and looks great. Took me about an hour with the longest part being the nailing of the back to the frame. I'm handicapped and had to sit on the floor and scoot around. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing extra shelves. My only "bad" comment is: in spacing the shelves to accomodate my DVD's left me with two shelves left over. To stand DVD's upright only four can be used. DVD cases come in varying width sizes and I was able to put approximately 225 on the 5 shelves.

Finally, a product that holds more than 200 dvds and is less than $60. I love this shelving unit. I was afraid that it might be too big and bulky, but it actually doesn't take up much space at all and looks beautiful in my home. I love it! If I ever need one again, I'm going with this one.

We have an extremely small space and needed something to fit behind a recliner almost flat against the wall, to store dvds, cds, and vhs tapes. It also needed to be sturdy enough to let the cat bounce off of it coming out of the window sill onto the chair (because I know her)....well, it does all of that...is super thin from front to back yet sturdy, thanks to a slightly larger bottom board to keep it from falling over. You can also secure it to the wall, but we haven't had to. The surface looks nice, it holds a LOT, and I couldn't be more tickled at how great this shelf turned out to be.

It came in a very secure package, and was heavier than I expected. The directions were well done, and the bag of hardware was not only complete, but had a few extra pieces. I'd recommend paying extra for shipping to the home, as it would be a hassle to load and unload the car from the store (I'm 84 years old). I partially assembled it, but had a friendly neighbor come over to help. If I were a bit younger, I'd have no difficulty doing it solo.

I have a half dozen of the same model shape in both that I brought locally which I have used for years. The only diffrence is there is a slight diffrence in height. The new one,is a top board thickness lower. The only *REAL* beef, is that Wallmart promised it to be in store on the 20th. And it did not arrive till the 22nd or 23rd. I had waited almost 2 weeks before the 20th. And they had almost 2 weeks before the 20th, to get it in. I am very dissapointed in Wallmart.com
