Received promptly and in good condition. Easy to put together with the instructions. (I enjoyed the hammer description, the invitation to cool off with a drink, etc...) Plenty of room for my things. I really like it.
Ordered two storage cabinets direct from Sauder, shipping was free and arrived in a week. There were no missing parts (check before assembly). Assembly was simple (can be completed by one person). I am not a handy person was able to complete assembly in 3-4 hours. Note that a electric drill or screwdriver is a must as there are many screws needed for assembly. For the price point, this beats most storage cabinets from other vendors. The front and rear panels are thin but the frame is sturdy. I was able to easily store over 200 lbs of books and other items in one cabinet alone. Would recommend.
This unit was easy to put together. My husband and I did it together in less than 2 hours and the only reason it took that long is because we sat on the floor and had a hard time getting up and down. The unit is beautiful and sturdy. The only thing I would suggest is when doing the door hinges, do the opposite of what the instructions suggest. Screw the hinge to the unit and then the other side pops into the hole and is easier to hang the doors.
I bought total 11 of these storage cabinets and installed them in my garage. They were very easy to assemble because the menu was very easy to follow. I spent roughly 1 hour for each cabinet. Packaging was protected and secured. None of my 11 cabinets damaged. They look great with affordable price. I was able to save 50% from my garage project. I'd strongly recommended these cabinets to my friends.
This cabinet is not the quality of other Sauder furniture we have purchased. However, it will end up working fine for the small things we are storing in a barn. We will be securing it to the wall from above with the strap provided because of instability and the cabinet's light weight. Okay in terms of the intended use, but only giving this two stars because we are used to heavier, sturdier, and better quality from other Sauder purchases. Assembly took approx. three hours. I am not mechanically inclined, so it would have gone faster if my husband had assembled this.
Was “out for delivery for two days, so we got it late. There was a crack in the door when we opened it. Eventually, it's going to break. Super disappointed.
Poor quality of materials with plastic 'L' brackets and gaps on the shelving. One piece cracked. Weird screw placements that leave tons of screws showing. I love getting furniture and putting it together, but this was by far the worst quality cabinet I have ever gotten. We need more and I will definitely look for different cabinet! This one is soo cheaply made.
We received this cabinet on time. My husband spent about 3 1/2 hours putting this together. Two areas the boards (pressed wood) cracked. So he gets it all together except the doors. Brings it upstairs to our niece's room. Goes to put the doors on, and one side has no pre-drilled holes for the door! What the heck??? Now we've got to try to drill holes tomorrow. Cheaply made.
Expensive for a cheap product. The top of the cabinet is not finished (corners are exposed particle board and the screws are visible). Included were white circular stickers to cover the screws, which are black, so it doesn't really cover them and look awful aesthetically (I ordered screw cap covers).
Pure crap. They aren't even MDF. The majority of their construction is and I'm not joking, cardboard. But uou can't really tell that until you have pretty much destroyed the box by taking the pieces out. So I literally had to just throw them both away, yes I bought 2 at the same time, and start over. Huge disappointment I felt very taken advantage of.
