My teen asked for a storage clipboard since he'd been using his brother's old one. I purchased three with different features (pen holder at the bottom; hinge on the side instead of the bottom) so he could see which he liked most. This clipboard was the most basic one, but that's what appealed to him. It's a good size to hold papers for the four classes he has. Features like a pen holder might be good for someone more organized, but I'm just happy my teen is throwing his papers all in this clipboard instead of the bottom of his backpack. Alas, we'll be returning it since the orange is a highway safety orange that's too bright for him.

I needed this for a traveling job, getting in and out of the car constantly, something I could accidentally drop and my papers wouldn't go flying. This fits the bill. Clip is super strong. Body made with durable, tough plastic, and the storage snaps shut and stays shut.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for someone who loves to color. Inside I added coloring pages printed from the internet, a coloring book, and crayons in a travel pack. This keeps everything together and provides a hard surface to color on - great for travelling or doctor's appointments (which she has many). Her mother agreed it was the perfect gift! :)

Bought this for my 2 yr old grandaughter to use while traveling. The only thing I don’t lik about it is that the clip that holds it shut can fall off and get lost.

Overall, I like the clipboard ok. The top closure is the main problem for me, because several times it has opened up and scattered my inside papers all over the floor. In all fairness, though, I have another clipboard that has a side opening, so this one may just take some getting used to. Be sure that the clip is snapped tight if you're planning to hang the clipboard.

Very thin (inside capacity) and VERY flimsy clip intended to keep it closed (it falls off). I'll be returning it or passing it on to someone else. Also, the orange is neon, not crayola orange.
