💅 Application Process (Field Experience) Using Saviland dip/gel systems takes a little patience at first. Dip powder process: Prep nails (buff, clean) Apply base coat Dip into powder Repeat layers Apply activator top coat What it feels like in real use: Powder applies evenly if you're careful Liquids dry quickly (sometimes too quickly if you're slow) There's a learning curve—but after 2–3 tries, it gets much easier 👉 Honest take: Not hard—but not “foolproof” either 🎨 Finish %26 Look This is where Saviland actually impresses. Smooth, salon-style finish when done right Colors are vibrant and trendy Can achieve thick, structured nails (like acrylics) Compared to salon dip: Slightly less polished But very close for DIY 👉 You can absolutely get Instagram-worthy nails with practice ⏳ Durability %26 Wear One of the strongest points. Lasts about 2–3 weeks without chipping Stronger than regular polish Comparable to salon dip if applied correctly However: If prep is bad → lifting happens fast If layers are too thick → cracking can occur 👉 Real-world durability: solid, but technique matters 🔧 Tools %26 Kit Quality Typical Saviland kits include: Dip powders (multiple colors) Base, activator, top coat Nail drill (on some kits) Files, brushes, accessories Pros: Everything included (true starter kit) Drill is useful for removal and shaping Cons: Drill is basic—not salon-grade Brushes can harden if not cleaned properly Liquids can get thick over time 🔥 Smell, Safety %26 Comfort Dip liquids have a strong chemical smell Not as bad as acrylic monomer, but noticeable Best used in a ventilated space Some kits advertise being gentler or HEMA-free, but sensitivity varies by person. 💸 Price vs Value This is why people buy Saviland. Usually $25–$40 range at Walmart Can do multiple full sets from one kit 👉 Compared to salon: 1 salon visit = cost of entire kit Huge long-term savings 👍 Pros Very affordable for full system Long-lasting (2–3 weeks) Tons of colors and options Great for beginners learning nails at home Can create salon-quality results with practice 👎 Cons Learning curve (especially first use) Chemical smell during application Drill and tools are entry-level quality Results depend heavily on technique

Best pack yet

brittany December 4, 2023

This is the first one I've gotten from Walmart to do my nails with. I've bought from Amazon time and time again and decided to give Walmart a try. I don't regret it one bit and you will not either! The quality is amazing! Seriously a must buy for the holidays for your girls into doing their own nails!!!

Not satisfied at all

Mardrey January 16, 2026

I did like the stickiness of the product. I was prepared to receive something else not this that cures without UV light. It takes forever to dry

Chips Easily, Don't Recommend

Liz March 12, 2026

I have used multiple dip brands over the years and this is the worst. It is the only brand I've used that chips. All of my nails chipped within days of application. I do not recommend, it's too thin.
