Sawyer Products SP656 Premium Permethrin Clothing and Gear Insect Repellent Trigger Spray, 22.5-Oz

I planned a trip to Chincoteague, VA. Two people told me the mosquitos are terrible there. There are lots of swamps and shallow water pools. Before going I sprayed my socks, pants and outer shirt as well as my hat with Sawyer Permethrin. Our tour group got out of our bus at one point to get a closer view of the wild ponies. Everyone else was immediately swarmed by mosquitos. I was not. I would much rather have an insect repellant on my clothes than sprayed directly on my skin.

Followed the directions and sprayed everybody's clothes, socks and shoes the night before going out into the woods/forest. It smelled when applying it but after it dries hardly noticeable. The two pack had enough spray for 4 adults and three kids with a little left over. After an entire day out in the woods/forest nobody came back with ticks. Every time in the past, a couple of people would find ticks coming home but this time nothing. Would definitely get again and set aside those treated clothes for future trips into a forest, especially for kids and older adults to prevent any tick borne illness.

It didn't spray as many outfits as described on the bottle. I bought two bottles in case I ran out while spraying, The spray hardly worked when there was about one quarter left. I got it because the strongest bug spray is not working well enough this summer to keep the chiggers from biting.

I was getting lots of bites from either chiggers or mosquitoes this year when working in my flower beds due to a lot of spring rains. I treated a long sleeve shirt, socks and some old tennis shoes and a pair of long pants and even a hat. I've worn them twice and not one bite. I'm thrilled. I haven't washed them yet and probably won't for a few more wearings. I probably didn't need the large bottle but may try it on some of my golf shorts, shirts and shoes . I followed the directions closely as it must be pretty strong stuff.

I am one of those people that mosquitoes love. I don't spray clothes because I purchase already treated clothing. This spray is perfect for other things: for example, I have sprayed all my outdoor furniture cushions. I use this to spray my shoes, hats, backpack, even my purse! This keeps me from having to overuse DEET and other chemicals on my skin. I spray this in a well-ventilated area only and wear a mask and gloves. It lasts through multiple washings. The more items you spray means the less mosquitoes, gnats, fleas, etc., will come near you. I highly recommend using this for anyone like me: mosquito bait!

This is one of the best ways to keep the mosquitos off in the summer. I hang my mowing and yard work clothes outside and spray them liberally and let them dry. I don't always wash them between mows, I just use them for that. And it lasts through 6 washings anyway. this way I don't need to put any chemicals directly on my skin, and it really keeps the buggies away. This came quickly, and is a nice large size with a sprayer that works well.

I was surprised that it last thru six washings ! spray pump works well and covers nicely. i use it for my garage and grow tent and shed to keep spider mites out. Not directly on the plants , just the doors and ooenings. i put it on Every Time i do yard work or go into the woods .

I was being eaten alive by nasty biting black flies, so I bought a bottle of this Permethrin clothing spray and treated my shirt, slacks, socks and shoes. I went from dozens of itchy, swollen bites to zero bites the next day. This clothing spray also helps with ticks and mosquitoes, so I highly recommend it if you're an active outdoor person like me. For the exposed skin on my neck and face, I used 20% picaridin insect repellent, another great product made by Sawyer

I learned about this product after my stay in the hospital dealing with Lyme disease. This is the best product to spray on your clothes to keep ticks from hitching a ride with you. Keep coveralls sprayed with this and wear when heading to tick infested places or spray your clothes before heading out to avoid ticks. Great product!

I feel like there's no way to know if this product works I mean this is thinking me cancer I feel like it should have came with a cancer warning so I bought it but I'm scared to use it I wish I could get a refund when someone would take it back from me cuz I'm terrified to use this cuz I just saw something out the army use this and it gives you cancer but it didn't have a cancer warning on it I'm probably sh going to only use the peppermint oil cuz this is for the tick invasion everybody knows that like we're under a massive invasion right now but does this work do I really want to find out too late ticks
