Repel Plant-Based Lemon Eucalyptus Insect and Mosquito Repellent, DEET-Free Bug Spray, 4 Oz

I go through a good number of eucalyptus based insect repellent every year and wear it like sunscreen. This one wins for the ease of application and price hands down. The spray is even and the nozzle stays clear throughout the entire bottle. It's much easier to apply without wasting excess product than the ones you have to pump with your finger. The scent is also enjoyable, though of course that may be a matter of personal preference. Perhaps most important is the fact that it does its job well to keep mosquitos and other biting bugs at bay here in Southern California without using DEET. For the future unless some better product comes out I intend to keep using this Repel spray since it's working the best for me so far, is easy to apply, has a nice scent, and is fairly priced.

I am enemy to mosquitoes my whole life. bayou city, big thicket, and Galveston is the blood sucking, desease speading triangle of Texas. off works best. this is a very pleasant off for tenderfoots. works as well as Off. better as it can be applied generously. only problem you cant keep it in stock its so valuable

I finally found a plant-based bug spray that actually works! I used this during a sunset hike in a heavily wooded area, and for the first time, I didn't come home covered in itchy welts

This stuff works but the spray is more like a couple of streams instead of a mist and you have to be careful that it doesn't get on the floor- it is oily so it makes the floor slippery. I use my hand to spread it better since it isn't really a good mist.

I'm using this as a fly repellent. I don't know how it would work with any other insects. My indoor and outdoor pet areas are cleaned thoroughly every day. I don't give flies a reason to stay but flies are relentless this year. I spray myself and I spray it on gauze and clip it where flies congregate. Do not spray it on your face, I use noxzema on my face instead. I tried essential oils but it didn't last long. This does last longer. I apply it twice a day. The flies might land on me but immediately leave. The scent is not overwhelming. Read the label and use with caution. I would purchase it again. I'm so done with flies.

I gave it a four out of five only because the strength of the smell is very overwhelming. Especially if you're not ready for it. This was the first time I used it and I was taken aback by the smell. The product does seem to work. Just be aware that the smell can be very overwhelming, and I worry about anybody with breathing issues using it.

It kind of worked - Mosquitos LOVE me, I get hundreds of bites just sitting outside on my porch if I didn't have any bug repellent on. The smell is rather pleasant, and I did get fewer bites, but not to the point where I could use this alone to repel mosquitoes.

I like the product but it is not a good value. The pump with the same amount lasts 4 times longer. Aerosol just goes too quickly it goes on too thick and evaporates fast. 4 ounces lasted 2 people one night and cost almost twice as much as the pump that lasts several nights.

I cant say this isn't a good product, it definitely works to repell mosquito's and fleas that are in the woods. It stinks so bad though. I sprayed some in the house and it smelled awful for a while , like all day and the next morning. Use it outside.

Absolutely awful! Has not been tested .....greasy mess stained my clothing and shoes! My clothes were stained with the oily spray and shoes had oil stains. Extremely strong smell that does not come off unless you scrub skin furiously! This product has NOT gone thru QA and tested on people....because if it had ....no one would recommend it! WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN!
