Sturdy and a great price. Will see how the wheels do over time. But right out of the box, and set and filled with water, and used for a few days, I like it lot. Easy to assemble, easy to move around. And I like that the fill hoe is on the top, not on the sides like others. It's 24 x 24 so I think it will stand up well. Haven't experienced it in the wind yet, but we usually close the umbrella when we see wind coming.

Great quality, sturdy patio umbrella base. It's so easy, even filled with/water, to maneuver alone or with the 10ft umbrella attached to it. I have extremely heavy bases that I can barely move- have retired them!! It's weighty, stable %26 bay breezes are no match!

This was already assembled in the box, which was great, the instructions were clear and easy to understand. I love the wheels! The process was simple to setup my umbrella. We added water but will replace next year with sand.

This is a very secure and heavy base for an umbrella. The only thing is there are two screws to keep the umbrella pole in the metal but that metal piece can come out of the base. So if there's a super strong wind, there's a chance it could lift your umbrella out, but I think it's going to be OK. I guess I'll have to see.

thank goodness for wheels, heavy and once water/ sand added impossible to pick up but able to move it to proper placement on our patio. Holds our 13 ft. umbrella nicely in place.

These type of umbrella stands are convenient in terms of being able to empty them for ease of relocation and/or storage (do not have hardscape for using the wheels)- versus cast iron versions - as well as the price point. And, in the end, the usual utility really is a factor of the level of winds in any given area. I live in an area with higher than average winds during part of the year (not hurricane or wind storm, just 'everyday' winds). So, though filled with both sand and water, it fell over the first couple of days. Had to weigh it down with large stones. It hasn't tipped over since. Will empty the water before winter weather so that it does freeze and potentially crack the plastic. But, it should (hopefully) be fine to winter in place thereafter.
