Great for having backup in our boat. The only problem I have is when it's delivered locally they either get the wrong address (Lane instead of Road) or they come to our house and scan the area, one even (door dash I believe) opened the trunk of my antique car. It's great to have recording cameras at home.
It took a while to figure out how to use the nozzle but once I did it's near perfect. The attached cap and the clever pour system keeps gas clean. The container is thick, sturdy, and easy to pour into gas tanks. I fill with 1.5-1 75 gals to keep weight manageable, because I'm an old woman.
i like it for what it does. its safe to be in the trunk of car without spilling or srong fumes to be released. it has a release valve thing. so fumes can be released for safety Read the instructions first or youll get very frustrated! I repeat...... read ..youll be glad. For ladys...hope you got a good grip and hold. haha. Im satisfied and would recommend it.
I purchased this gas can to replace an old metal can from the Vietnam era that had a rubber spigot slowly deteriorating due to age. I needed something portable and resilient enough to be stored outside in the elements and this product checks both of those boxes. This product has withstood rain, hail, and even light snowfall without warping or deforming. Absolutely zero leaks while the can is stationary. The plastic can is rugged yet still easily movable around the yard while in use. I am glad I purchased this item as it This is a well-designed and constructed gas can with one exception. I have to deduct one star because the spigot can leak while filling your mower/machine from the can. There is a safety valve that should be opened, allowing the gas to flow freely. However, if you don't open the valve and the can is tipped forward in the pouring position with the weight of the gas against the seal; there will be a slow leak. I have tried several times to remove the spigot/reattach it but the slow leak is still there.
Amazon sells this same model with a spout extender. This definitely needs one unless the only thing you're using it for is a lawn mower. To purchase the extender alone is another $16. I recommend ordering this elsewhere with the extender included.
to me its a very expensive can. and extremely hard for me to use. Buildbup to much pressure so you have to be care when you go to use it or you will shoot gas everywhere.
The handle on this is a nightmare. Maybe some guys can squeeze and pull simultaneously but I can't. The OSHA idiot who designed this should be forced to fill 100 lawnmower tanks with this puppy. Good luck with that.
The safety features added to this product do not make it safe. Three times trying to fill….. I was covered in gas. I had more gas outside the container than in it. I have never in my 50 years of buying gas…. Seen a drop of gas spilled from filling…. Til now.
Like all the anti spill gas cans they are so difficult to use and lead to much more spillage than occurred with my can and funnel system.
The nozzle is too big to fit into a vehicle's gas fill hole so it can't push open the flap to let the gas in. Plus the nozzle is too short anyway to allow you to tip the can up to pour gas in.
