Scepter 5 Gallon Gas Can SmartControl Enhance Fuel Gasoline Container L&G, FSCG572. Color Red

I've used it a few times to fill my lawnmower, and it works well. The 2 handles are great. I also enjoy the fact that i can control the flow of fuel into my machine. I can simply lift my hand off of the "button" instead of waiting for the gas to gush, jerking the nozzel out, and trying not to fling gas everywhere.

Came quickly (that's what she said). Well needed for generator and hurricane season. This one is large but easy to handle for filling and refilling tanks.

The plastic insert in the opening doesn't allow the fuel to free flow in to the tank.You have to fill very slowly or the pump will shut off.Also I have a truck and to hold the tank and push in the valve to dispense the fuel is very difficult and takes a long time to get 5 gallons of fuel out of the container.

Came with corner dented badly, but put gas in it and let it sit in sun; the pressure pushed out the dent. I am old school and pretty much think these safety valves on these gas cans a real pain in the butt. At least they went back to the handle on the back side of the can, otherwise I would not have bought it.

The container holds gasoline fine, but it is very difficult to maneuver the spout. In fact, I haven't figured out how to use it yet. I just take the whole spout off and pour it through a funnel. I don't suggest buying it, especially if you have any hand or finger issues.

Filling requires holding down a ratchet to unlock the spout - very stiff. After filling, the can is leak-free but wait until you attempt to pour the contents into your mower. Very difficult to operate the release mechanism and when you finally do, the pour rate is unacceptably slow. I'm returning it.

The gas can is great I like the design, however, it leaked right from the start. Opened the cap and the O-Ring fell out damaged. Frustrating because I had to lug the can a long distance only to find out it didn't work as it should.

TERRIBLE! DO NOT BUY THE TWO PACK! WASTE OF $$$. The second container HAS NO CLOSURE CAP OR POUR SPOUT, THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD YOU CANNOT TRANSPORT GASOLINE OR ANY FUEL BCZ THERE IS NO WAY TO SEAL THE CONTAINER! It will SPILL fuel or any liquid everywhere and NO WAY to STORE it!! This is offered as a SINGLE container OR for a better value a TWO PACK. ...unfortunately the TWO PACK means YOU ONLY GET ONE CLOSURE CAP %26 ONE POUR SPOUT!!! Is this a joke? How am I supposed to transfer or store gasoline OR anything WITHOUT A CLOSURE CAP and how am I supposed to pour it WITHOUT a POUR SPOUT- that I PAID FOR!? The SECOND CONTAINER is USELESS! I PAID FOR TWO CONTAINERS but at can ONLY USE ONE!! THIS IS ACTUALLY A RIP OFF NOT A GREAT VALUE ...THIS IS A WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT BUY THE TWO PACK,as a matter of fact I don't know if I even trust this sellers products.

The can itself is fine. The spout is the issue. All newer can have these adult proof spouts that are too short and require 3 hands to operate. Why can't they just provide a 10” spout with a cap? I had to go buy a funnel to try and fill my UTV's recessed tank.

The gas can arrived without the pump or nozzle. I returned it to the store and began looking in the store for another one. I found the same one in the garden center without the nozzle for $24. Then I found the same exact product WITH the nozzle as shown in the picture for $15 in the automotive department. This is a case that proves that what you order online is not the same quality or price as what they have in the store.
