NON Smart TV

Steve August 23, 2025

I bought this TV because it doesn't have ROKU or any other APPs installed. Specifically, it is NOT a Smart TV. I want as few electronic devices around that have the ability to track me.

Great TV

Russ December 16, 2016

Great non smart tv. Thin and only weighs 70lbs. Arrived on time and intact. I think it has great color and is a good tv so far. I have had it for 1 week. I plan on installing a 38" vizio soundbar when I get the brackets . I purchased all these things at Walmart.com and it was delivered at my local Walmart store.

4 K Ultra HD

Mongo615 January 28, 2017

I would absolutely recommend this TV the picture is excellent. I just wouldn't buy it from Walmart the delivery was late and broken the second one was late and broken the third one came in reluctantly from Walmart and seems to be in good shape. Took over a month to get a TV in good working condition. The tv it self is amazing great picture, it is very light only 70 lbs easy to use no complaints about this TV.

Sceptre tv

Richard January 18, 2021

Tv works great..but you should know that it is not true HDR because my PlayStation 4 will not display in HDR mode...other then that...tv is great picture is nice and clear and it really is a good value for the money so if you're not really concerned about HDR then it's a great TV to get

Great large tv

Desmond November 4, 2020

Its a great TV. It takes awhile to get used to screen especially if you are upgrading from a smaller tv. I didnt need the smart tv functions because I connect my computer through an hdmi port. Love it. Its thin. Easy to operate. And easy on the wallet

Very Good Picture Quality

Sanjiv February 7, 2017

Wasn't sure about the company. Bought it because of the price. It is surprisingly very good. Gave 4-stars due to audio quality. Not enough bass coming from the speaker. Overall I am happy with this purchase and I would recommend it if you are in big 4K display market.

Not True HDR

Mikey August 7, 2020

This TV was a good deal but it is not a true HDR television. I have tried a few different HDR/UHD movies and streaming content and they look like regular HD quality. Not HDR quality. Doesn't have that crystal clear smooth image like a real HDR set. You know that look when you see the store displays. It still looks nice and is a nice size so it's still worth it.

Don't Do it!!! Scroll on by!!!

ckoalaco June 15, 2021

We got our new heavy, huge TV. We excitedly lifted the heavy thing out of its huge box and packaging, installed the swivel stand we bought for it, and plugged in our devices so we could sit down and enjoy our purchase... But boom... right out of the box the HDMI 1 port was defective and unusable. But I wasn't worried... because we also got the 5 year extended warranty. Hahaha, what a joke THAT is! People, just don't do it!! The 5 year warranty that, by their own paperwork started the day the tv was purchased and goes 5 years from THAT,with no waiting period, wasn't going to be honored by the warranty company until after the first year, so it is, in essence, it is a 4 year extended warranty for the price of a 5 year. And as for Sceptre's manufacturer's warranty... if you are strong enough to unhook everything, remove the stand, fit a huge and heavy 65-inch tv back into the box, wait for it to be shipped to them, then wait for them to fix it and ship it back... all the while being left TV-less... just to get to then lift the huge heavy 65-inch tv again to unbox, reinstall the stand, rehook up all the devices... all because the manufacturer screwed up and boxed up a defective product to sell, they will cover it. My recommendation is to scroll on by. Do not trust a Sceptor TV because the company doesn't care. And don't trust an extended warranty on any of Walmart's products (they are all through the same company, Square Trade) because no one will be willing to help you if things don't go perfectly. As for me? I can't box up the TV so the extended warranty is now canceled, since I found out that the small print makes it pretty much useless in all cases, and I ordered an HDMI switch on Amazon to compensate for the ineptitude of both the manufacturer and an extended warranty company. What a nightmare for my husband and I, both senior citizens, to have to endure.

This article is very delicate, when I moved it from the living room to my room, the screen broke without any bad movement, everything was very careful, it did not hit or anything like that, I am very sad because it lasted only 3 months with it, it was almost new, even with the factory plastics
