I bought this TV because it doesn't have ROKU or any other APPs installed. Specifically, it is NOT a Smart TV. I want as few electronic devices around that have the ability to track me.
Actually arrived a day early. Box was a little banged up, but my TV was just fine. It's immaculate actually! Pictures are so clear and vivid that they almost look 3D in person. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! It's much larger in person than I imagined. I feel like I have my own personal cinema at home.
Tv works great..but you should know that it is not true HDR because my PlayStation 4 will not display in HDR mode...other then that...tv is great picture is nice and clear and it really is a good value for the money so if you're not really concerned about HDR then it's a great TV to get
I have a Samsung 4K TV and i need another one for other room that wont break my bank...glad i did buy this one...clarity is much better than my expensive Samsung one...you just need to buy a sound bar w/ subwoofer and you will have a perfect entertainment! i own a Sceptre 55" 4K TV that i purchased 4 years ago and still in awesome condition..never had a problem..I just wish i didn't buy the Samsung 4K one instead i stick to another Sceptre...Thumbs up!
Some people may be put off by the fact that it's not a "smart set" or think that an inexpensive set should have incredible audio, but that's not me. I already have a sound system with 5.1 surround speakers and use an Amazon Fire TV box for a brain (which allows me to stream 4 K). I basically got this set to use as a monitor and the picture is excellent and that was all I cared about. My father in law compares the picture quality to his $3,000.00 60 inch Pioneer plasma set (which bugs him, but pleases me).
I would absolutely recommend this TV the picture is excellent. I just wouldn't buy it from Walmart the delivery was late and broken the second one was late and broken the third one came in reluctantly from Walmart and seems to be in good shape. Took over a month to get a TV in good working condition. The tv it self is amazing great picture, it is very light only 70 lbs easy to use no complaints about this TV.
Great non smart tv. Thin and only weighs 70lbs. Arrived on time and intact. I think it has great color and is a good tv so far. I have had it for 1 week. I plan on installing a 38" vizio soundbar when I get the brackets . I purchased all these things at Walmart.com and it was delivered at my local Walmart store.
All killer with no filler. For the price its awesome. It may not have apps or an OS on the tv, but that's not a problem. There are other solutions such as Roku, attaching your computer, or a blue-ray player. We personally use a version of Roku that supports 4k.
This TV was a good deal but it is not a true HDR television. I have tried a few different HDR/UHD movies and streaming content and they look like regular HD quality. Not HDR quality. Doesn't have that crystal clear smooth image like a real HDR set. You know that look when you see the store displays. It still looks nice and is a nice size so it's still worth it.
This TV is a great option for how cheap it is. I agree with with most reviewers that the sound quality is bad, but who in their right mind would rely on the actual TV sound instead of a sound bar or surround sound system? Save money and buy this 4k "dumb TV" because all you need to do is connect your Apple TV or Roku, etc.. to make it a "very smart TV". The only bad thing was the Pottstown, PA Walmart lost my 1st TV somehow and Walmart had to send a new one causing me to have to wait another week.
