Selling my 2004 Hyundai Elantra and wanted to be kind to the new owner and replace the blown rear speakers. my expectations werent high but anything was better than the ripped to shred paper speaker that was 20 years old. The sound quality of these speakers are freaking RIDICULOUS. For 40 bucks and to have the 4-way capabilities of these speakers? the bass on this was astonishing. im driving the elantra for probably another month; but honestly debating replacing the fronts with these as well. Definitely putting this in my next car as well.

For the price they sound fine. People call them Junk, Garbage, whatever.. You get what you pay for. If your going to spend less than $20 for a pair of speakers exactly what are you expecting? They have pretty snappy sound, granted the bass ain't that great but again, there little speakers. There nice little speakers. And they work fine for what they are.

Just picked up a set of these today to replace some blown drivers in a set of old 90s era bookshelf speakers. For $20, they actually sound extremely good, and were a direct drop-in fit! The tweeters in my old boxes were weak, so I really like that these have tweeters built in. They even look like they belong in these boxes thanks to the blue and silver accents. Bass was never great on these speakers, but that is common for small drivers. These units sound awesome for full-range 4in drivers and are overall a great deal for the price!

These speakers should sound great 4- Way 200watt /50watts per speaker with a stronium magnet for powerful bass control. They were priced right..and come with a lifetime warranty which I've never seen before as most have only 30-90 days a few 1 year but a lifetime warranty..I was sold right then..Im sure they will sound as good as others more expensive.. but I'll know later this evening!

Worth the purchase if you’re looking for something just for temporary replacement

VERY impressed with sound and UMPH! I got these on sale for $21 and they sound GREAT! I have an older JVC, no amp door speakers were "blown" and these did the trick, only wish i bought 2 sets to replace rears, but they sounded ok, before i installed these

I just finished putting these in a subwoofer box I built from scratch with a sheet of 3/4" MDF from Lowes. I used subbox(dot)pro to design the box based on 8 inch subwoofers with a slot port. If you're building your own box for these and want to copy mine, the only specs I changed were port area to 30" squared, 3 inch mounting depth, .75 inch material thickness, and 0.05 ft squared woofer displacement. The box dimensions are 30x15x14.10 (LWD). Powering these speakers is a 100 100 wuzhi bluetooth amplifier board I got from ebay (~$23). I wired up an old 19.5V 4.65A laptop power supply I had laying around to power the amp which comes to about 90 90 watts according to the amp specs for voltage input. The sound coming from the box is WAY better than I expected. The bass is audible all the way down to around 23hz and hits hard as low as 33hz even though it's tuned for 36 hz. These speakers have enough bass to shake my house and probably annoy my neighbors. Bass drops are loud and deep, fast bass drum kicks when listening to metal are very clear and you can feel each kick. Rap with a lot of bass sounds very good. Mids and highs sound pretty crisp as well even over bluetooth. I didn't really know what to expect from cheap 6x9 speakers since everyone recommends not using them at all for this kind of thing but I am extremely impressed 9.5/10. I'm sure an audiophile would probably think they sound bad but for me the sound and the frequency range is beyond my expectations for a cheap bluetooth speaker box under $80 total. I did test these outside of the box and let me tell you that the box absolutely makes these speakers sound as good as they do. Don't expect results like mine with small bookshelf speaker boxes.

I replaced 4 of my JL Audio speakers on my boat with these. I sold my boat and wanted to take out the good expensive ones and replace them with cheap ones. To my surprise they are very crisp sounding and im getting a good amount of bass out of them even without my subs. I am very happy with them and would recommend them if you want a cheaper less costly speaker that sounds great.

I know these speakers are considered a low-budget option, but I install a lot of car audio components, and these are as good, if not better, than a lot of products in the audio market. They are well-built and sound really good. I put these on an amplifier delivering about 45 watts per speaker, and they sound really clear and crisp. They also have decent low-end for the midbass. I am pleased with the purchase and would definitely buy again.

To start with I am only reviewing the 6.5 inch speakers as some idiot at WalMart substituted a pair of 6x8's that would not fit. The two I mounted worked well and installed easily in the old speaker wells of the 2007 Trailblazer. They sound great but I have to find 2 more for the rear.
