Scosche MCRA-RP1 Strikeline High-Speed 3.0 USB-C MicroSD Memory Card Reader for Micro SD, SDHC and SDXC

the type of SD card reader with total injection of the SD Card, is this reader. the typical Chinese docking station with SD TF and adapter reader insert partly bends the internal fingers and you will be lucky if the SD card does not fall out and the chances of not making adequate connection. I bought 14 docking stations from Walmart Amazon eBay and Temu and all are pure aluminum junk . Ten Scosche readers single SD card is only one dependable. because the SD card is spring held in place. this is the only SD card reader using this technology normally for tablets and laptops. I have Temu plastic USB A connector with 3 USB A and 1 USB C , 3 USB A to USB C adapters and 4 Scosche readers on my Chromebook until my replacement Laptop come in. the knock off 45 and 65 watts Chinese knock off cloned oem charger C connector fell apart shorting out my Lenovo Yogo laptop. not recovering my data on the Internal SSD chup soldered to the motherboard. I was fortunate to have Scosche readers SD card backup drive was my life preserver. Great card reader... this space (MicroSD and SDXC cards) is fraught with fake products and false performance claims. This product is NOT fake, and delivers the top performance of your cards. This is now my official benchmarking reader/writer now.

It works perfectly witb my Samsung Galaxy S25 FE since it doesn't have an sd card slot. Now all I need to do is plug this card reader into the usb and download my pictures and videos!

It is cheap very poor quality.. seems fine with 64gb sd cards.. but it won't recognize a 1tb sd card. It won't flash cards. Like at all it starts then fails every time. If all you need this for is moving VERY small files like j.peg mp3 etc it's fine… honestly though for like $10 more you can get a real one.

This is probably fine if you don't need to transfer much. I tried to use it to transfer 100gb and it overheated multiple times. I ended up applying an ice pack to the reader so that I could finish my transfer. I was left wondering if a more expensive one would have had this problem

I'm returning mine today. I attempted to view photos on my SD Cards on my laptop %26 Android phone. On my laptop as I was in the middle of trying to get this to work I literally watched my laptop go from half a battery to 0 % in min. On my phone when trying my phone literally shut down %26 restarted on its own. NEVER HAD EITHER MISHAP OCCUR TIL I TRIED THIS DEVICE!!!!

TRASH!!!! And I should have known because of the price. I bought this to simply transfer Nintendo data from one micro sd to another micro sd for my son. It barely completed the transfer off the old micro sd and now is completely fried and won't transfer data to the new micro sd. So now the Nintendo data is stuck on another external drive until I go get another sd transfer device. This device constantly pops errors and disconnects and reconnects to the pc. It gets hot and will fry itself doing any transfer over a few MB. Save your money and go buy a better well known brand.

Tried to use it inside 2 different computers and a phone and they couldn't read it. This is the 3rd $5-10 electronic I've purchased from Walmart that out of the box didn't work and it's inexcusable

Probably a heat issue, but the card constantly disconnects on Mac with larger (>500Mb) transfers. Easy for small, single file, transfer or browsing, but fails on writes when close to 1Gb
