This product was extremely easy to use and very fast to cover large areas. Was pleasantly surprised how efficiently it worked. Best idea I had was to buy this for our painting job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used and loved Scotch blue tape for years but this is a game changer, especially for professionals. The applicator makes the job quick and easy. I use it to tape everything, including canvases. Highly recommend.

It seemed easy and smart, and we joked it was a gimmick. But it worked! when you have 16 feet long walls, its a bear to get the tape straight! Anyway, Didn't expect much. It was tricky to get started (Like others,the roll that came with it was backwards lol) Once I flipped the roll, and then after a practice run, it was ON! It is important to really press down the starting point or it will pull back off, and annoy you. I also found that sliding a plastic scraper behind me, helped really seal it down. It's very important to SEAL it down, the roller only places it. I wish it did have a tensioner to do that while you roll... Took about twenty or thirty minutes (including one roll change) to tape 400 SF room with three door frames. not too shabby! Inward corners are not easy with it, but in short order, you learn how to just pull a little extra and dress the corners by hand. All in all, it saved me time, tape and effort!

I have always used the ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape, but it is so much easier to use with this applicator!! The tape glides smoothly through the wheel and makes painting so much easier and quicker!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good item that serves its purpose. It even sticks to wood surfaces (which can be hard for other sorts of tape). I first tried 3M's painters tape years ago and have used it for many things since then. This tape is something you put along the line where you don't want paint to go. It serves as a barrier between where you are painting and where you don't want to paint yet. For those of us (like me) that don't have the most steady of hands anymore this is a really good tool and it makes the painting process go more smoothly. This is especially useful if you have beams or trim. It can protect it while you paint the larger surfaces. It is also useful in painting the trim if you like white walls but just want to add a dash of color here and there.

I read reviews and watched reviews on this product. I gave it a 4 because 5 would be perfect. If you have right angles, it is very smooth going! I purchased it for baseboards. Unfortunately, it did not work well on baseboards. With it not being a bare board and has already been painted before, it could not be flush. I ended up getting on the floor anyway to use the taping by hand. This is only the first room. Oh boy!

The tape is slightly less wide than others I've used in the past, but unless you're just slopping on the paint wherever there shouldn't be an issue with that. The design is pleasing and it works well to dispense but it also almost doubles the size for storage purposes. If you have to tape often for paint, this might be for you. Personally I have too much stuff laying around already and would hate to throw out even more plastic waste.

Garbage. Sticks to nothing. When it does it just falls off a short time later.
