Very economical and sufficient for overall use.

I wanted to find a packaging tape that was strong and would hold my boxes and packages together. I was having a problem with some packaging tapes because they would begin to peel off my packages. The Scotch heavy duty packaging tape is great. It is strong and durable and instantly adheres without peeling ends or splitting. I do not need to add more tape. Don't make a mistake when taping though because it really sticks. The tape is clear and the address can easily be seen. It is a great tape and it is reasonably priced.

It's the only packing tape I use. Tried others, lesser cost, as was the tape.

I have ordered this more than once; I trade books and ship packages fairly often. It works well; I don't have issues with it tearing when I don't want it to, as I've had issues with using cheaper tapes. It does stick back on itself at times rather than staying stuck on the dispenser but when it does that it's pretty easy to get it going again. It could also stand to be a bit more adherent on the actual packages. (Those two things are contradictory, I know!) Overall a good product. It's worth not buying the cheaper tape.
