I recommend this brand of packing tape.....
Somethings you have to buy the quality for instead of the quantity ($$). This is one of them. When I want to "reach in" and pull out a chunk of tape for whatever reason - I want to do just that - not spend minutes (or what feels like hours) having to find the beginning of a roll of tape because it has closed upon itself, as well as try to get it restarted so that I can the pull out a chunk of tape for whatever I need it for. Frustration comes at a price - I've paid for that lesson with my precious personal time so I no longer go cheap with some things in life - this is one where I don't skimp. I've used this brand for over 20 years and by the multi-packs to save a little coinage and save a ton of frustration by buying quality. I recommend this brand of packing tape.....

A money saving idea!
I love this Scotch brand Heavy Duty Packaging Tape. But I thought it was such a waste to discard the individual plastic dispensers that still seemed perfectly reusable even after the tape was all used up. So, I contacted the 3M Company to ask if they sold the tape in rolls that would fit in the used plastic dispensers. Yes! They did! They gave me the dimensions and an 11-digit code with a link to purchase them on the Walmart site. Now, I'm happily saving money and the environment as well. Done and done!

Not a lot of places sell just the tape without the dispenser. I don't need the dispenser - so it's nice to be sure of getting the shipping tape sans dispenser. Much more environmentally friendly.
