Scotchgard Outdoor Water Shield, 10.5 oz, 1 Can

I needed to make my outdoor cushions waterproof since they are out in the weather. We've had torrential rain storms this spring and scotch guard has really done its job.

Good morning, Walmarters. I purchased Scotchgard Outdoor and UV protection spray because I have lawn furniture on my apartment balcony. Previously, I hung bamboo shades at the railing of my balcony to protect my outdoor furniture from sun fading. The bamboo shades worked quite well, providing shade and privacy. However, over a year or so, the shades became absolutely shabby looking, which is not in keeping with my desire to create an esthetically pleasing environment. I sprayed my chairs, the pillows, foot stool and outdoor rug according to product instructions. I'm confident that this particular Scotchgard product will do the job as Scotchgard products have always done for me. As a Scotchgard user for many years, I highly recommend this product to preserve your outdoor furnishings.

Purchased after hearing the rave about this stuff being used on kids shoes. Well I decided to give it a try and must admit I impressed. I sprayed it to all 4 shoe pairs as instructed on the bottle, then just let it dry. It was simple and very easy. The only thing I will point out is, one the third shoes it left a bit of a yellowish oily residue. I wiped it and it came off. It didn't stain shoes or anything. So far shoes are holding up well, so we shall see. Definitely adds an extra layer of protection to the shoes.

Waterproofing worked really well on my winter products convenient to use a few hours to dryer

This is an amazing product. It's one of the best waterproofing products I've ever used. I've used it on canvas nylon wall and multiple other materials and it sheds water like a glass window does on a vehicle. It's amazing.

I used a full can of this scotch guard on new cushions I got for my outside. I used it for the back and the front on all 12 cushions It's waterproof. Yay !!!

I just used this product two hours ago on new patio umbrellas. Worked well. Dried fairly quick as I sprayed them outside. Only thing I'm not happy with is the way they were shipped. I ordered a dozen and thought they would come in a display box that was meant for that many. No, they were just thrown in a box that was too big, with some paper. Many of the lids were off and some of the sprayer tops were off.

One of the two spray cans delivered missing the spray button's protective cap. Of course, can easily discharge without the cap.

I used a ton of this (drying between coats) on my off-white outdoor lounge chairs… after the first rain, there's already light stains showing. It's repelling some water, but not doing much about staining.

I sprayed this over my outdoor furniture cushions. I tested area prior spraying while cushion just in case. After spraying entire cushion and going back over once completely dried, my cushions look horrendous. I made sure they were clean prior to %26 shook well. Then, I sprayed as directed on the bottle in terms of distance and slowly to ensure surfaces are sprayed thoroughly and evenly. They are streaky and discolored now. (Pictures attached - cushions have gotten dirty since spraying but were not like that before.) The spray smells just like WD-40 and does get everywhere so make sure to spray away from porches/patios. I used a whole bottle on only 1 side of 4 cushions. I expected a lot from this product so I am honestly disappointed in the result. Maybe other products would be better to try on but as for outdoor furniture, don't recommend.
