I lost a lot of my grass over the winter in my front and back yard. I purchased this grass seed and it was very easy plant. It is coming up nearly over the area that I planted this new seed. On the sections that did not germinate, I added more seed and starter fertilizer. I highly recommend this seed!
We always try to buy the Scotts brand fertilizer and Grass Seed because it has proven to be a winner for us in the results every time. We put this seed out about four weeks ago and another bag out a week later and have new seed poking through the dirt everywhere. We did add new top soil in a lot of places before throwing out the seed and have been trying to keep it watered when needed. Looking forward to enjoying our new grass this year. (Scotts is usually more expensive than other brands, but with the results we have gotten from some other brands, it is worth the extra price point we pay.)
Great value and product. The best seed I've ever used. Grows lush and healthy. Sprouted quickly.
Easy to use, fast results
I order this item every spring for my lawn.
Great product . Started to grow within a few days
About 20% of the seeds actually germinated
too much coating and fertilizer. would rather get pure seed. I may have botched it, but I got sparce growth. Going to keep trying.
This company is all about the money. They want you to believe that they are king of the horticultural industry. They overcharge for all of their products and they're not worth the hype. They sent me grass seed that was long out of date, when the salesmen are supposed to rotate their stock and pull out the old stock from each store, on a regular basis. They want you to believe that you have to buy their products, rather than one of their competitors' products. An example of this is their fertilizer spreaders; they say you need to use their spreader in order to apply their products to your yard or garden. Even the fertilizer and agricultural chemical companies fall for their heavy-handed policies, so when you read the spreader rate on the back of the bag for whatever product you're using, it will give you settings for Scott's equipment, and very little of the other brands. They run a monopoly on the agriculture and horticulture industry and if they could back up their words and advertising, their products wouldn't need to be reviewed.
No difference in my grass
