Scotts Turf Builder Halts Crabgrass Preventer with Lawn Food, 13.35 lb.

I put this on my lawn (Eastern PA,) between the 10th and 15th of April. It greens the grass right up while keeping most all weeds in check. It usually last all season too. I highly recommend.

My lawn is looking good and the pre emergent will keep the weeds a bay. Ready to move onto step two weed and feed and get established weeds that came back.

This is the first lawn product I use every spring season to make my lawn thick, which helps prevent any crabgrass weeds from invading my lawn. It works well and does the job right. Best brand around.

I used this product just as the Spring rain started last week and my lawn looks amazing. Brown spots are filling in and the grass is clearly growing.

I got two bags which was enough to cover my lawn but either I wasn't walking fast enough or listing of how many sq ft the bags is supposed to cover was off, but it did not cover my entire lawn only about 80%. Not sure about absorption but after rain that night still a lot of product visible and don't know if that is correct or not.

Apply the product about three weeks ago and still have no results. I'm hoping that within the next week or two because the weather we are having now it rains a little bit and then there's a few days of sunshine that I will see some results.

This doesn't control broadleaf weeds! Contrary to another reviewer's comments. When broadcasting to the lawn, it's quite hard to see how far the product reaches out. Not far at all, like 1.5 ft. First time using, too soon to know what it will do to the bermuda. still have wild geranium and plenty of dandelions 2 weeks after application.

I like the program. However the second application is weed and feed I wish their was a choice of weed and feed and just fertilizer without weed killer I used it years ago and had an adverse outcome I’ve used this program for years. In the passed I was able to customize my order

I bought two bags thinking I would give this company another shot at getting rid of my weeds and dandelions. Unfortunately, my yard is still full o f weeds and dandelions. I will update this review if that changes. But right now I am out near $40 and would like my many back.

be careful when ordering this online the fertilizer itself came all clumpy, and that is not how it's supposed to be
