It works as advertised

Dolores April 20, 2025

I've been buying Scott's Weed & Feed for a couple years and it works. I have seen the weeds curl up and die after just a few days after application. And the grass starts to turn this luscious green color. I have applied in both dry or wet conditions. But I have found that the best time to apply is in the morning when there is a little dew on the ground so it sticks more to the weeds. But it is not mandatory since I have seen it work in a more dry condition as well. Even though this may cost a little more than some competition, it definately is worth any extra cost because it works.

Works good, you can see the difference.

JD May 6, 2025

Scotts is always consistent, applies easily and has the right size granuals that stick well to damp grass, increasing effectiveness. This makes it a better value IMO.

Effective

Joseph March 25, 2025

We use this every year starting in Spring (with a walk-behind push spreader). Two or three light applications over a 4-6 week period (that is, one application every couple weeks) and weeds are gone for the whole summer. Sometimes contains hard clumps. Large bags are a little unwieldy, but smaller bags are easy to use. Have tried other brands which are less effective.

Our Scott's has been applied and the weeds are dying, the price for this purchase at Sam's was the best we found.

Sam's Club typically has the best price on this brand of these lawn care products. And I am able to get free delivery. It's a win-win!

Seems to work but it doesn't work very fast

Eh. Kinda worked?

I overused the product and still have about half the weeds. Yes, I followed the directions except I used more than recommended.

Product not what it used to be

Just No April 26, 2026

I have used this product for at least 20 years. In my big backyard I used to have only had one dandelion for about 10 years or so in the spring then it would die off after using this product. Now my lawn is riddled with them. This product is not what it used to be.
