I bought the Scrib3D Junior 3D pen as a gift for my best friend’s son, and it was a huge hit. He’s really creative and loves building things, so this was the perfect fit. What really sold me on this model was that it’s completely kid-safe—no hot parts at all, so there’s no risk of burns or accidents. It’s also wireless, which makes it easy for him to move around and work freely on his projects. He picked up how to use it pretty quickly, and it was awesome to see him bring his ideas to life in 3D. It's a great screen-free way to encourage creativity and hands-on fun. I’d definitely recommend it for any young builder or budding artist.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My eight-year-old daughter absolutely loved the SCRIB3D junior 3-D printing pen! It was super easy for her to use right out of the box, and the low heat design gave me peace of mind while she was creating. The pen heats up really quickly, the filament is easy to insert and extrude, and she was making little creations within minutes. It's very beginner friendly and perfect for kids who enjoy arts and crafts or STEM activities. My only complaints are that I wish it came with a few more filament colors to get started and that the cord was a little longer. Other than that, we've had a great experience with it and would definitely recommend it for younger kids getting into 3-D art!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old made the figures in the pictures. It is very user friendly. The pen hooks up with a USB-C port, so you are expected to hook it up to a laptop or pc. The pen heats up very quickly, and then you simply feed the spool into the pen and start creating. The kit comes with 3 spools of 3 different colors, and a guide with some figures you can start with. You draw directly on the guide to create the parts, pop them off when they dry, then stick them together with the pen. The pen doesn't get hot enough to burn so I was able to leave my 6 year old to work independently with it. She could even touch the tip of the pen with her bare fingers safely. The pen is quiet, small enough to fit in my 6 year old's hand comfortably, and only has 2 buttons. My 6 year old was able to feed the spool, take it out, and change colors without any supervision. She loves it. I would recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 years old son is absolutely thrilled with this printing pen! The initial set up was quick and straightforward allowing him to jump straight into creating. Its simple operation makes it very user friendly for young hands. He easily figured out how to use all the features to bring templates animals and cars to a life. The build quality is impressive and the overall durability gives me confidence that it will last true many creative projects! Highly recommend for young creators!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My whole family loved this 3D pen! It’s so easy to use and safe do the littles… my kids are 7, 13 and 16 and they all had a great time trying to make shapes and structures! Even my husband and I loved it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SCRIB3D Junior is honestly such a cool way to get into 3D printing without it feeling intimidating. Since it’s designed for younger creators, it’s super lightweight and stays at a much lower temperature, so you don't have to worry about anyone getting burned while they’re working. The big, simple buttons make it easy to control the flow of the filament, and seeing a design actually lift off the page into a 3D shape is a total "wow" moment every time. It’s a solid pick if you’re looking for a fun, tactile craft that keeps things safe and straightforward. Easy to use and fun for all ages.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a neat idea. It came with 3 different color filaments and ideas of what you can make. My daughter did say that her hand go tired of having to keep the button held down consistently in order to extrude the filament. It took awhile to find a rhythm of how fast/slow it moves but we’re figuring it out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this pen is good for beginning and early learners to a 3-D pen. My son has a more advanced pen with a thinner filament that comes out faster and dries more quickly. This would be good for a young child. Just beginning to learn so I think if it’s aged more for that sort of audience, it would be good. However, the box says this is for age is 6 to 13. My son is 10 and this is far too Elementary for a product for him. If purchased for the correct audience, I think it’s a good product but I think the age 13 is way too high of an age for this pen. I would gear it more towards younger children. It also takes a very long time for the filament to dry again, which is strange considering how thick it is and how quickly it does melt I’m not sure if we’ll be keeping this product or gifting it to others
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this is a super fun concept for adults and kids alike. The pen is great because it doesn't get dangerously hot. However, the instructions are so vague that it really takes a lot of trial and error to get a grasp on the techniques. The projects that we tried in the booklet were extremely complicated (even for adults). We ended up just creating our own items (several rings and trinkets), which was a lot more fun! I would suggest including some FAQS, best practices for using the pen and some some simpler projects to get started with. I would also like to see more colors in the included materials; most of the projects in the guide used colors that didn't even come in the kit, which was disappointing.
