This is a 3d pen it is pretty easy to use, just follow the directions. It may take some practice to make steady lines if that is what you are wanting. We tried out a few stencils they are pretty easy to follow. It did come with 3 starter colors so you will need to purchase more to do more projects. It does dry pretty fast so you don't have to sit around waiting. It does take a little time getting use to the size of the pen and holding it. It is a great product and and the kids like to use it to make little things right now as they are still learning to use it.

Wow I am so excited to learn how to draw in 3D, to feel what I drew not on paper but able to hold the drawing. I am using a 3D app tutor to learn how to put my art into a perfect design that can be appreciated as a see and touch object. So bear with me as I show my first attempt to design a bike. This is not a tool to be used for children because it heats up to 210 degrees and not to be used on surfaces like table unless you have a drawing table that can handle the heat. I know once I master the tool I will be good at bringing my drawings alive. Right now don’t laugh at my first bike, lol. The machine is light weight and easy to load plastic in.

The SCRIB3D Printing Pen is great fun. My kids spent hours making trinkets and pendants with it. It comes with 3 starter colors. You can also get free stencils and projects online at the SCRIB3D website. It comes with a nice project guide and stencils to help you get started!

Fun screen free activity! My 10 year old has been using it everyday for at least 3 weeks now. Holding up well.

This pen is so much fun! I got it for my granddaughters birthday and it is easy to use and understand.

We got this to try out and my son loved it. It’s a starter kit that comes with the pen, charging cord, manual, 3 colors of plastic “rope” and stencils. He made some pretty cool designs and objects. The 4 samples of plastic “rope” lasts a decent amount of time. There’s no strong burning smell and the melted plastic hardens back up quickly. This product seems pretty safe as long as the directions are followed. I would recommend it for any beginner who wants to try out 3-D printing.

It continually pushes out the filament with no stop. I have to unplug the entire thing to stop it. You do not get what is pictured. I am very disappointed. Do not waste your money on this item. Ordered it for my son, and he can not safely use it.

I bought this 3d pen for my daughter for christmas. she was so happy and surprised that i had actually gotten her a 3d pen. Well that excitment only lasted so long.... As she went to try it out for the first time the tip of the pen where the melted plastic comes out melted completely off. shes lucky she didnt get burned.

Fell apart the first time we tried to use it
