safety mechanism for kids work, mostly because i didnt read the instructions at first and couldnt figure it out. Works well and i havent needed to buy a refill for my torch since, and i use it daily and often. The bottle comes with different nozzles depending on need
We bought for the new Butane Lighter/Torch we purchased for the kitchen. The Butane worked great in the BBQ lighter we refilled after receiving the new Butane Lighter Fluid. We wanted to insure the problem wasn't something with the new Butane Refill. So, after several attempts to "test" the new lighter/torch failed, we, filled the old BBQ lighter, with Butane, and tested. The old lighter worked great!
Great value and brilliant design. The nozzles are stored in the lid, but the best part is that you don't need to remove the nozzle to recap the canister. The lid fits over the attached nozzle, so you never lose it between uses. Unbeatable price and functionality—a definite must-buy.
Full, great price, and definitely last longer than the ones In smoke shops definitely recommended especially 2 for the price of 1 is a steal Filling is easy there's no gauge regulator but it's the right size to insert and fill with butane I originally was picking up but w made it easier to deliver
I love making crème brûlée and baked Alaska but ran out of fire. The first can of fluid I bought was a small container for the same price as this one and it sprayed all over the place when I lined it up and pushed down to fill, so I basically didn't get anything in my torch. This one has the proper sized nozzle that fits my torch and I'm able to fill it easily with little spillage and plenty left when I need more.
Other than being kind of a pain to find in my local store, for the price this product pretty much exceeds the name brand one that is a lot easier to find... 🤣🤣. I find that the butane is as good as the more expensive "refined x-times" brand. I use less than the other one, so even though it's slightly larger, this one lasts longer. I absolutely cannot do without it. It's a definite Recommend.
I was able to get enough of the fuel into my torches to use them, but these cans have serious flaws. Thier dispenser doesn't fit well on the lighter's intake valve. I ended up with butane all over my hand! This happened on two different torch styles and brands. These can be extremely dangerous in my opinion.
Earlier last month with purchase butane soldering iron and script butane refills, this thing must be the lowest grade of butane fuel. My new butane soldering iron ended up clogged ....no other ways to explain other than lower grade of butane fuel that cause the typical symptom of torch lighter being clogged due to ...xxxxx . Do not 🚫
I have bought two cans of this so far. When I fill up my lighters it isn't long after that that they quit working. My neighbor told me that their fuel is not filtered very much and so it damages the lighters to where they won't work anymore. I use the Walmart app and have my items delivered to me since I am unable to go to the store. Unfortunately, this Scripto brand fuel is all that is available from Walmart. From now on I am going to do as my neighbor and get it from the Dollar Store where it shows on the can that it is filtered 10 times so it is much better for the refillable lighters. She has had hers for over a year whereas mine only lasts maybe a month!
NOPE! I bought this when I ran out of my Zippo butane fuel and I have been sorry ever since. This Scripto butane must be some low grade fuel as it takes several strikes to get it to ignite. At first I thought it was my flints, but soon realized that wasn't the problem. Then I thought it was my lighter, but I have several other lighters exactly like the one I was using and every one of them acted the same way. There was a couple of times the lighter refused to light altogether even though I had good spark and I could hear the hiss from the butane. You get what you pay for!
