Only Good if You Have Long and Thick Hair
I guess I should have looked at this product more closely. When I received it, I saw that the clips were ginormous. I don't have enough hair to put in one of them. If your hair is long and thick, these will work just fine and appear to be made very well. But if you have fine or thin hair, don't bother.

One Pretty/One Ugly9
Although these claws are much bigger than I had expected, they appear very sturdy and well made. While the black claw is very nice, the brown one, which is supposed to look like tortise shell, is actually not well done and is simply ugly. I won't use it.

Huge Clips But Painful
I loved these gigantic clips at first. After wearing for about 10-15 minutes I noticed the prongs started hurting my scalp. I kept trying to wear them for 3 days but had to constantly readjust them because they were stabbing my scalp. They are huge and seem sturdy so I gave 2 stars and i do recommend them to others that don't have this issue. Maybe my head is a weird shape? ha! Guess I'm returning them and going back to my usual large Time and Tru brand clips. They last a couple of months before breaking but at least they're comfortable.

They are larger than I imagined but they hold my hair back -for showers or heat waves of hot weather -

I have really thick hair and I was surprised that this held all my hair without any other hair bands. It is also surprisingly comfortable. I thought I would feel the claws digging into my scalp and I don't.
