These coffee filters are thinner than some others, however, I find if you fold the edgesdown where the seams are, they do the job. I would buy these again for the lower price than name brand filters.

I like the way you only get one at a time, instead of them sticking together like the bleached ones can do. The larger pack is most convenient.

I have used this type of paper coffee filter for years without any issues. However; this particular batch has definite quality control issues. The cone is made from a single piece of filter paper folded over itself and two of the edges are machine crimped. This batch however; was not crimped properly at the bottom seam which opens allowing coffee grounds to pour into the cup of coffee. This happens on nearly every filter in this batch and folding the bottom over only prevents the seam opening some of the time. Very frustrating.
