It uses cone shaped filters, which makes all of the difference. My coffee is richer even on the classic setting than in my previous coffee maker. The warming plate is intense so make sure you don't have too little left in the carafe or it will scorch.

Best coffee maker I've owned. I like the ease of filling water reservoir (no more splashing water everywhere from carafe), duration settings on warming plate and delayed start feature. Seems well constructed compared to others I've owned. Wish clock kept its settings when power is cut.

This super-dupper coffee machine on make it the drippy drip coffee. Grind no, coffee yes. You do the beep boop and in 13 minutes flat you have fresh hot coffee. Use cone filter %234. Use quality water with a ph level of at least 8, not too alkaline or or or your hot, steamy, luscious coffee will taste like bath water with coffee in it. Which some say is not that good. But I digress. It’s a good coffee machine. Simple to use for simps and non-simps. On top of all this facts it’s very inexpensive and worth every nickel and dimes since pennies are not being made no mas. Give a hoot don’t support (insert “coffee” chain here). Period.

It's sleek in black/stainless steel and brews quietly and consistently. The only minor downside: On Classic mode with our heavy grounds load, we've had occasional spillover/overflow in the basket because the faster flow can't keep up. Sticking to Rich mode eliminates that completely for us. Overall, fantastic machine for bold coffee lovers—highly recommend, just use less grounds or Rich setting if you're prone to overfilling!

It does not come with a basket.And whenever you call ninja, they don't understand and told me to go after walmart to get the basket because it was their problem. and I told him, the manual says it may or may not come with a basket.How do I order one?And after ten minutes of explaining this to the Ninja customer service, they finally said, it's been discontinued.You can't even order a basket.

This thing barks and croaks and klacks noises of all types when brewing. First one I bought started doing it on day 3... I took it back to the store, thinking it was broke. Got a replacement. New one started up these terrible brewing noises right away. It also has a end of brew beep cycle that you can't turn off. Super annoying at 6am.

Im only sending bad review due to the fact the reusable filter was not in the box i had to order one. Not sire y its missing brand new coffee pot never opened

I just ordered my third ninja coffeemaker. The first 2 I only had a little over a year. For the price of the coffeemaker it should last more than a year. I drink a lot of coffee so I'm assuming it can't handle it. I keep ordering the same one cause I love the design for how it holds the water. I know it's a dumb reason for how crappy this item is. I'm starting to get a tad bit annoyed with how each one goes out just a few months past the 1 year mark to contact customer service. This new one I ordered I'll do the warranty with ninja so when it breaks again right after the year mark it'll be covered.

The first time I used it, all the water leaked out the bottom and soaked my counter. I had no coffee and a mess, plus the hassle of returning it to the store. Nonja has always been a star in my kitchen, but this experience, plus the bad reviews, tell me to go another direction for coffee.
