Pumping the bilge
I shopped around all the hardware and boating supply stores. This product was the least expensive one I could find. It does the job perfectly. Best uet, it comes with sufficient hose attached that you do not have to buy more (about 3 feet). My boat is an open skiff, the bilge pump doesn't remove all the water from rain, washing etc, so just stick this in the residual water and it's overboard in seconds. Ordered it on line and picked it up from my local Walmart two days later - no shipping charges

by price and they way it work. it is great i have seen some others too but this is cheap and best. compare to $40 pump

Beats doing it with a sponge and bucket
Using this for the bilge on an old sailboat. Using the old sponge-and-bucket method was getting old fast. The Seachoice does a good job and has plenty of suction to get the water out. My only complaint is that the hose leaks a few drops where it goes into the pump. Other than that it reduces 15 minutes of sponging to 30 seconds of pumping.

Great for my kayak
I've got an inflatable ducky that often takes water from old floor seams. Worked great on first use. So far so good. Good value for the money.

Use it to transfer water between 2 basins. So far, works great and seems very sturdy.
